I just have to comment on him.  I think it’s horrible that they selected such a foul-mouthed and crass person to basically star on a family show like this.  And I’m even more disappointed after watching him with his innuendos and double entendres.  And he seems to have taken over like it’s HIS show.  (I loved how the other two gave him a dig about it being "his" stage!)  I have never liked him and, even though sometimes a little humanity does show through, he definitely should NOT be on that show.

Now, that said, about him making the little boy cry, that should not be held against him.  That kid was put there on the show knowing it is a "contest" and needs to face rejection just like anybody else would.  I don’t think the judges should put a kid through just because he’s a kid.  And, I think Stern should NOT have gone back on his vote.  It was nice that he went on stage and gave him a hug but he just should have just told the kid he was sorry he had to vote no.  JMO though.

half of the premiere and apparently that part of Howard hadn’t shown up yet. But what was everyone expecting? Should we be suprised? I’m sure the producers selected him for being who he is and should have realized Stern was not going to button it for any format – family show or no – and that they were taking a chance with his controversial, mega ego nature. We’ll see how this all plays out with the viewership.
