I saw shades of Angeline Jolie and her brother yesterday with Lexie and EJ.  I thought it was just a little too kissy-poo for a brother and sister.  Was it just me?  How many people kiss their brother on the mouth?  In fact, how many kiss them at all?  I don’t ever remember kissing my brothers…hugs, yes, lots of hugs, but no kisses.

and wondered if I were just being a prude. Maybe not since you thought it, too. The kissing seemed over the top and ditto for the way they were sitting on the sofa at the end. I just don’t think it was realistic, but then again, they didn’t realize they were siblings until they were adults, so maybe people in that situation would act differently. I know that most siblings who grow up together would find that to be a little too "romantic."

and even had some slight sexual tone to it, but I still thought it was more sorrow and loss than love between siblings.  Plus, I have never seen E.J. and Lexi act that way toward each other.  The hugs were fine, but Lexi kissing his hand over and over, and then the kiss on the lips was indeed a bit much.  I did actually love the part though when he pulled her close to him and told her he never wanted to let her go.  I thought he was sincerely thinking that if he held onto her long enough, she wouldn’t die.  Guess everyone looks at things in a different light, but actually for me Lexi was the overly-gushy, ‘giggly-poo’ (is that a word?) one.  Still loved their scenes yesterday.

the hand kissing thing to be Lexie being silly.  I didn’t really see anything sexual about it considering the circumstances. How affectionate would you be with somebody you love who is dying especially if they were about the only person you know who loved you no matter what you did?  And, although I really hate to say it, it did make me look at EJ in a more humane way. He almost seemed like a real person, with real people feelings and emotions and everything, LOL.

If he had left Lexi and gone to see Nicole at the hospital and acted half as nice, he would have gone up a huge notch with me, and I have always thought E.J. was just a thug in an expensive suit.

I saw nothing wrong I believe it is how your raised is how you respond to family members, Our family are kissers and huggers, and we always have been, so it was not hard for me to see siblings kissing , as my daughter lay in the hosipital dying my son (her brother) kissed her on each cheek on the forehead and once on each eye, .. it was nothing romantic about it. I know we all have different opinions on things, I just thought I would share mine.

I knew I would be sorry I said anything nice about EJ! Although..his threats were pretty idle considering he himself is no longer a DiMera. Just sayin…

we are kissers too, Maxine. Whenever my brothers and sister and I meet we always give each other a hug and a kiss on the cheek and don’t think anything of it. So I didn’t see anything odd about it either.

So sorry for the loss of your daughter. Blessings to you and your family.

I was referring to her kissing her BROTHER on his mouth.  I kiss my kids on their lips but would have never kissed my brothers that way.  On the cheek, (our hugs usually included a kiss on the cheek) hand, forehead, yes, just not on the mouth.  I don’t know, it just felt kind of creepy to me.

I kiss my brother on the cheek. I’ll kiss my kids on the lips. We are a very affectionate family so siblings kissing each other doesn’t bother me so long as theyre not engaged in a long lip lock.

my family are all big huggers and a kiss on the cheek when we see each other and when we say good-bye, but we don’t kiss on the mouth, not even just a peck.  Just our preference, I’m sure many do.

We weren’t that affectionate until I got sick, we never really said I love you either, but after I became sick, the I love yous came often, and I kiss my parents on the mouth, but just a peck. So i can understand where they are coming from.
