it was so refreshing to watch her and Will this week.  Love Will’s family being there for him, supporting him, and reminding him that they could never love him any less.  I especially liked that Will and Sami have reunited and are healing themselves and each other while once again they can become a loving mother and son.  When they hugged each other so tightly yesterday, the smiles on both of their faces melted my heart.  I also loved Will’s scenes with John and Marlena and Will’s acknowledging to Marlena that "he would not be himself without her."  Freddie Smith is soooo good as Sonny and it was so nice to see him on screen again, reassuring Will that he knew that in time Will’s family would be there for him.  John was so funny:  "you’re gay, you’re out, and I’m proud", although I do realize that not ALL families would feel that way.  But mostly, I’m proud of Sami.  She admitted, in front of their family, that she did not handle her son’s difficulties within himself at first, but that she never stopped loving him, and tried to convince him of that, even though Will made it heartbreakingly difficult at times for her to do so.  However, Sami never gave up.  Instead she continued to hang on for him because I believe …… no, I KNOW ….. she does love Will so very much, even though I’m certain that most on this board will not agree.   So, go ahead, LYAO, booo, throw the virtual tomatoes, whatever, but Sami has been doing her very best for quite some time now to convince Will that she loves him, always has, always will, no matter what.  Sort of the way I feel about Sami!

I agree!! I LOVED their scenes yesterday too and it just put a huge smile on my face when she and Will were hugging so tightly and smiling. I was so afraid that when they got to the pub and Sami saw him with marlena she would say something but she didn’t! Everything was well done. I loved John too he was so funny.

I wonder if we will see Caroline at lexi’s funeral?

But bravo to all the cast the past two days. I haven’t cried so much watching days ever since John “died”. Well I take some of that bravo back to gabby’s stupid fake stalker and now kidnapper. I hope this isnt Mel’s exit SL.

but this whole story as of late has been great. I loooove her support, you can just feel how much she loves him. And I’m so glad he’s willing to embrace her.  Sami has been very enjoyable to watch throughg this whole ordeal. As a mother, she did exactly what I’d do.

And yes, I literally LOL’d at John’s comment. Great line.

You know I agree with you! I too felt she handled the whole situation with Will in a very mature, maternal way. Just the way she kept smiling at him while he was telling Grandpa Roman the truth. I kinda wish Rafe would have given  her a little pat on the back for behaving so well but that’s another story.

I’ve despised Sami for some time now. But lately maybe now that the Will situation has knocked some sense into her, I’ve thoroughly enjoyed her scenes.

that the writers have to get fired before they start writing decent storylines?  Well, some of them anyway.

her character after 20 years, did make me stop watching the show as she never grew up.  Oh, I know, and I won’t argue with anyone that Sami has had her moments of sheer delight as a character, but if you look at the entire spectrum of her very being – I think, (without being a statistician) that a good 90% of her is spoiled little girl, whiny brat child still to this day, (in spite of all that she has been through in her life) that is in constant Never-Never-Land mode.  She was in just about every scene so I couldn’t even FF’d show anymore.  I’ve been saying this for several years now, let Samantha "Sami" Gene Brady  Reed- Walker-Roberts-DiMera-Hernandez- go to Switzerland or China or somewhere and come back a few months later "permanently changed" as a mature lady of 38 years old with four children and 70million exs, and be able to keep a job.

I think the operative words in the first line of the topic are "this week."

hope that Sami is finally getting a clue and learning to think of someone else besides herself.  I have to admit that her persistence in getting Will to talk to her, and trying to understand where he was coming from, was an improvement.

Nora, speaking of Melanie’s exit story, I completely agree and hope the kidnapping scenario won’t be Melanie’s exit mode.  I have been on pins and needles how Molly will leave the show.  Since it seems Chad is staying, I daydreamed that Melanie will somehow get a message from "Dario" in Argentina, sending for her; and she rides off into the sunset, on her way to be with him.  Woohoo!  LOL
