Are you freakin’ kidding me? I can’t believe that bitch would actually do something that dispicable. I sure hope Carrie tells Austin about it. I thought there for a while Kate was going to treat one of her kids’ SOs like a normal MIL would. Hah! Silly me.
And Carrie sits there like a little innocent lamb going to slaughter. Hey, Carrie! What happened to your backbone? If I had been her, I would have shown the dagger to Austin in front of Kate and said, "Oh, look honey, what you mother has given me…isn’t that thoughtful?"
Can she possibly fall in lower on the likeablility scale?
because we all know Kate would never, ever really use it on Carrie …… well, not while she’s pregnant anyway. It was merely meant to send a message and I think Carrie got it. Austin is such a puss, he wouldn’t do anything about it anyway except maybe threaten to cut Kate off from his life, which, it’s become painfully obvious to me that, like Lucas and Philip’s threats, that never happens. Sure, it was overly dramatic to threaten her with the dagger, but show it to Austin????? For what? He should have thought of it himself a long time ago, wuss that he is. The drama was insane, but the effect was hilarious.
let Kate have it. I wish someone would slap her silly. But Kate was right about one thing – Carrie has not said she’s “in love” with Austin.
Carrie on her affair with mike and she mentioned that Austin was either too in love, or too blind to see what was going on, and I was glad someone brought that up, even if she did it in an odd way.
She should’ve given her a plate of brownies.
for forge a good relationship with your DIL, give her a dagger and threaten her. Of course she should show it to Austin so he knows what she’s going to have to deal with in their marriage.
I had a MIL from HELL (who had many of Kate’s characteristics), so internally, I promised my kids it didn’t matter who, or what kind of woman they married, I would always be kind to them.
It is NOT Kate’s place to point out Carrie’s indiscretions to her, whether or not Austin is blind. There was absolutely NO justification for that snarky little move.
