General Hospital’s” Kelly Monaco (Sam McCall) is returning to ABC’s “Dancing with the Stars.” Monaco was the first winner of the infamous mirror ball trophy and helped launch the competition series into the hit it became. She joins fellow former “Dancing” stars as Kirstie Alley, Shawn Johnson, Drew Lachey, Apolo Anton Ohno, Emmitt SmithJoey Fatone, Pamela Anderson, Helio Castroneves, Melissa Rycroft, Gilles Marini, and Bristol Palin. Carson Kressley, Sabrina Bryan, and Kyle Massey are vying for the 13th and final position in the all-star edition of “Dancing with the Stars.” Fans are being asked to vote for one of the three as part of a show first being called “Viewers’ Choice: All Star.” Voting began  July 27, at 1:30 PM ET/10:30 AM PT via ABC.com/DancingwiththeStars, presented by Diet Pepsi. Fans can logon and cast their votes now through Friday, August 24 at 3:00 PM ET/12:00 PM PT, with the winner announced live on Monday, August 27 during “Good Morning America.” While the cast list has been revealed the network won’t say who their dancing partners will be until the Monday, August 13 airing “Good Morning America.” (Source:SON)

are they including Bristol and Carson?  The rest of them did very well, including many winners (six of them, I believe), but those two have two wooden legs!  And the only thing I can say about Kirstie is that she lost a lot of weight while on.  She wasn’t that good a dancer.

I’m looking forward to see Hilio and Gilles again!  Woo-hoo!!!

just for being famous. What appeal Bristol has completely escapes me. She is a dud in every way with zero charisma. They could get any girl off the street with more personality. And how she landed a reality show reeks with absurdity. Her kid is adorable I do admit, but Bristol is only in the spotlight for being a politician’s daughter who had a child out of wedlock. What a country!

and I hope Kyle Massey wins for the final spot.  Not looking forward to seeing Kelly Monaco.  She’s quite the drama queen, although she’s not the only one.  But, her first season on DWTS was controversial with John O’Herlihy (not sure of his last name).  They had a dance-off and he won the second time.  I think it really boiled down to the show allowing so many lifts and physical acrobatics that the female was allowed to do, but the male couterparts couldn’t…just because of the nature of the role the male and female have in a dance competition.  I was glad to see the producers change the rules and keep it fair for both males and females.

I would love to see Sabrina Bryan get the last spot.  She got the boot way too soon in her season.  She was amazing and had a real shot to go all the way.  I was so stunned and upset when she was voted off.  So unfair but I have to keep reminding myself that it is a popularity contest.

I am THRILLED that Kate Gosselin is not going to be on the new season.  I kind of suspected she might be just for all the drama but am so glad I won’t have to see her face or her stomping around the floor.

I wish they did not bring back those who have already won.  It would be nice to have others get the chance.  And Kelly Monaco?  UGH!!!!!!!  Not looking forward to seeing her.  I just do not like her at all.  There is something about her that I just can’t stand.

I didn’t much care for her when she was first on the show and I didn’t even know who she was, other than a soap star.  And then when she appeared on Dirty Soap, I liked her even less.  I can’t put my finger on exactly what it is I don’t like but it’s just there.  I remember she wasn’t very nice about it when John O’Hurley won the dance-off.  But I thought he should have won in the first place.
