    Why of why didn’t someone kidnap Carly much earlier and then we wouldn’t have had to endure this pathetic story.  The whole thing has been ridiculous.

    Vivian felt safe because Carly didn’t know she knew.  But when she discovered that Carly was outside I think she figured it out.  So she wants to make sure Carly is at a safe distance and based on the days ahead previews at the end of the show, she wants Carly to see everything.
