I thought Thursday’s episode was the worst show I’ve ever seen on Project Runway. Designing clothes for a baby? I’m sure babies really care if they are wearing a designer label or not. That was bad enough but then to have the designers have those fake babies crying all the time. That was absurd! I can’t even imagine how they worked with all that noise. I could barely sit through it myself. I was uncomfortable watching and hearing that. Completely unfair to the designers. Heidi lost her mind on that one.
And as much as I don’t like Elena, she did not deserve to go home for that challenge. Melissa’s plain white adultish dress was horrible. It was too short, there was no design, and it was not baby clothes. Elena’s was much better. Of course I didn’t want Elena to be in the finals, but she went home on the wrong challenge.
On absolutely everything. I hated that episode. It was nothing more than a blatant, shameless ad for Heidi’s baby line. And those babies were driving me crazy too. That was totally pointless.
You know, I don’t believe Elena is as bad as she’s come off. I really think it’s all been for the camera/drama which is why she apologized to Dmitri. I’ll bet we’re going to see a whole new Elena now.
It’s getting down now to where I don’t know who should go home. I was really thinking Ven would take the whole thing and I didn’t think he should have gone home. Yes, he’d used that design before but that’s his signature. I suppose I’m rooting for Chris now. He seems to be very talented and I like him best as a person.
What was the point of having the contestants “care” for babies? This isn’t a parenting show. What a freakin’ waste of time.
I didn’t mind so much the designing, but it would have been more interesting for older kids. Yeah, you’re right about a total promo for Heidi’s line. Definitely the worst PR ever!I would love to see Chris win as well. I think he’ll definitely be in the finals. Dmitry has really grown on me so I would like to see him in the finals as well. I think the final three will be Chris, Dmitry, and Sanjia. Me thinks Melissa will be next to go, and then Fabio. I think there may be only one episode left before the finals. I wonder if they will have four finalists design a collection and then narrow it down to three for the finals?
I just read in TV Guide that starting October 25 (at least I think that’s the date) is another Project Runway All-Stars. This is the one where there is a different host and different judges. I don’t know who will be on this one. As much as I love Project Runway (it really is one of my favorite shows and I look forward to watching this more than any other show), I’m not that excited about another series starting so quickly because I’m already DVR’ing and watching so many shows as it is! But now I’ll have to watch!
the powers that be tend to jump on success to the point of over exposure. I hope that doesn’t happen here.
