However, will this come with a “But?” I wonder how long it will take for the truth to come out and if it will be Daniel who puts the pieces together.
October 16, 2012 at 9:01 am #35938BonbonParticipantafter watching yesterday. He says he believes she couldn’t do something like that but I’m not convinced he believes she didn’t.
I watched again and she did push against Nicole’s arm (she wasn’t pulling away as I first thought) so I guess it could be construed that Jen pushed her. However, I don’t think it was a malacious act nor was it intentional so I don’t know how they could possibly interpret it as murder. If it should go to trial, which I doubt it will, I think it would be reduced to maybe even a misdimeanor. I can’t see her getting out of it unless Nicole comes clean and says it was an accident and I don’t see that happening.
October 16, 2012 at 11:56 am #35941PattiParticipantof intentionally hurting ‘anyone’ much less a pregnant woman, even if it is Nicole. What makes it look worse for Jen is that she has been seen and heard publicly displaying her hatred toward Nicole for what Jen believes Nicole is doing to Daniel. May be none of her business, but it’s a fact. I think Daniel not only wants to believe Jen, but he so much as said it yesterday when he said he knows she doesn’t lie, and that’s why he is going to be on Jen’s side here. Besides, let’s not forget, Nicole knew her baby was already dead inside her, so I’m sure she knew that when she flew up those stairs after Jennifer, that any "accident" could easily be construed as intentional. I want them to find that damn scalpel because she took it out of her purse when she went after Jennifer, clearly intending to kill Jen. I’m just waiting for the Karma to kick in now.
October 16, 2012 at 12:41 pm #35942caseyParticipanteither someone sifting through the garbage to find those papers or that substitute doc somehow revealing it. That’s obviously why they made her having to rush out of town. Not sure the scalpel on its own would mean much. I’d love for Maxine to have some role in this!
But from a legal standpoint why wouldn’t an autopsy be done on the baby? It’s like whoops Nicole fell so automatically that’s what killed the kid.October 16, 2012 at 1:56 pm #35945BonbonParticipantthey are making. There really was no suspicious reason for thinking otherwise so I don’t believe they would do an autopsy nor pursue the cause of death further.
But, I’d really like to know why the baby DID die. And I don’t think Nicole was even entertaining the slightest thought of the possibility of falling down the stairs. I don’t care how coniving she is, I don’t think she’d be brave enough to do that. That would also risk her own life.
October 17, 2012 at 2:52 am #35957lynnekarenParticipantI’d love to know why her baby died. She was 37 weeks, everything was fine the day before. Was it a cord accident, undiagnosed illness, what?? I don’t think she even cares to find out. Well now it wouldn’t matter for her story, but before that. Unless it was shock.
October 15th is national pregnancy & infant loss awareness day. I thought it was fitting that her scenes aired during that.
October 17, 2012 at 12:46 pm #35962PattiParticipant"over-active", kicking her to the point of causing her pain. Then she told the substitute doc that her baby was very active all through that day and finally stopped where she no longer felt him kicking after midnight. I do remember the doctor telling her that possibly her baby had a heart condition and she mentioned something else, but I can’t remember what it was now. Nicole was told after her first miscarriage that she would never be able to carry a baby to full term. Throughout this pregnancy it seems they made it a point that her baby was extremely active. I wonder if perhaps the baby was suffering some sort of fetal stress syndrome due to an abnormality of some sort and it wasn’t detected until it was too late.
October 17, 2012 at 2:24 pm #35971BonbonParticipantthey would have done an amnio which would have picked up any kind of heart or pre-natal problem. It’s just very strange that the baby died so suddenly. If it were during the birth I could understand because so many things can go wrong at that time but not at the point she was at in her pregnancy.
I sure hope they don’t sweep it all under the rug and leave us hanging as to why he actually died.
October 17, 2012 at 2:41 pm #35976justwonderingParticipantI know 3 friends who lost babies in the last 3 months of pregnancy. Eveything was going well in each case. One went for an ultrsound in her 7th month and no heart beat could be found. A second one woke up in the middle of the night and felt that something was wrong cause she didn’t fell any movement. She wnet to the hospital where trhey discovered there was no heartbeat. The third was somewhat different cause she went into early labor and the baby on only 27 weeks and didn’t make it.
The first 2 opted to wait for natural labor to deliver the child, which occurred severasl days later. There was no explanation, it just happens sometimes.
October 17, 2012 at 2:57 pm #35979dvalParticipantI know a woman who was in her 8th month and went to the doctor and there was no heartbeat. And if I remember right the same thing happened to the actress Katey Sagal when she was on Married wtih Children.
October 17, 2012 at 4:38 pm #35983MKParticipantI’m already so sick of this storyline and all its components. I think it’s boring and uninteresting but then again, I think I’m just bored in general with the soap right now. I am watching the show in about 15 minutes. I can’t find one interesting storyline right now. I thought I’d be excited to see Kristen back but I’m not at the moment. But I’m sure that will change once she gets a storyline (which I hope isn’t to break up Marlena and John).
