I really hated today’s episode on so many levels.
First, when EJ started telling Nicole how much it would mean to him to know that the child was his, he played on her emotions and the fact that she was sedated. He kept at her gently telling her how they loved each other and should greave together. Until she finally admits it, and he turns around and runs to Sami!!!! He has no heart OR soul.
Second, Dami and Rafe– come on do writers really believe that sex is the answer when there is a death??Then EJ mocks them for a reaction that was the same as he and Sami!!
Third, Maggie jumping at Brady for taking Nicole’s part. Jennifer has been a walking time bomb since Jack died. She also promised Nicole she would not let her have Daniel. Brady saw what happened. It really could go either way, a pull away or a push. Jennifer is not guilty, but she is also not innocent IMO

As for the sex, I think men usually find comfort in sex but women usually don’t. Just the male animal. Personally, that would be the last thing I’d be thinking of while I’m greiving. But then, Sami is doing her best to comfort him.

Using Nicole like that when she is drugged up and grieving for no other end than to break up Sami and Rafe is just despicable. Nobody is ever going to make me believe he loves anyone better than himself and the only needs he looks out for are his own.

Right now I’m disgusted with the writers making every character in Salem be about revenge, payback, getting even, tit-for-tat. It’s not entertaining and it’s not what a soap opera is supposed to bring to its general audience. I don’t know what happened to soaps today, but I can certainly remember the days when the ratings were through the roof. Now, not only are there only 4 soaps left to view, but you see the same stupid plots on all of them, and ratings have plummeted. It’s no wonder with stories like these. I’m close to giving up, since I see no changes in sight that will make me excited to wait patiently each day for my soap. Now, not so much. And it’s because of the never-ending story that writers insist on staying with today that not only do not entertain me, but they actually anger me because no one pays for what they do, story lines are repeated time and time again, and family values, romance and intrigue are thrown under the bus for the likes of how much pain characters can inflict on one another and get away with it. I would rather see some actors leave than be turned into what I see on my TV today, and JS/E.J. is probably close to or at the top of my list. I don’t even find him that attractive anymore. JMO.

Also, what happened with the doctor that told Nicole she’d lost her baby then left the country? She said multiple times she was going to notify Nicole’s regular doctor what happened. Won’t that doctor come back and mark the file or tell Daniel? Something?
