I am really liking gaby and Nick, they are so cute together. But like everyone they are going too fast.
with all these couples – they’re painted into a corner by hitting the sack way too early. What’s left? Certainly not romance. I would have liked Gabs and Nick more if they had progressed slowly, but this is Days M.O.
Is there still a chance Gabi will fall preggers? Maybe that’s a factor in the hurry up relationship w/Nick?they have Nick using the "GOD" card today, indicating that the reason he is so against Sonny and Will is because not only does he not approve of them being a homosexual couple; but, GOD would not approve and therefore it’s just plain wrong. Then, later he has sex with Gabbi, who he’s not married to, and has known for all of, what, 3-4 weeks, but they are about to consummate their "love". So, it’s wrong for Will and Sonny to love one another, but it’s okay for Nick to fall into bed with Gabi? Whether or not you approve, disapprove, like or dislike Will’s and Sony’s storyline, I suppose God would approve of two young, unmarried people having a sexual relationship, regardless of the length of time they have known each other shows me that the writing for Nick in this particular instance was just plain stupid. I mean, talk about hypocrisy, Nick Fallon is thy name.
People pick and choose what they believe. I will use Catholicism as an example. They do not believe in either birth control yet how many of them practice it? I can understand a person who feels their religion, ergo the bible, tells them homosexuality is wrong and a choice, yet, even though their religion may not condone sex among the unmarried, feel it is okay and seriously believe they are doing nothing wrong.
Of course it’s hipocrital but he’s definitely in good company in Salem. I’m sure the writers are doing this (and I actually applaud them for it) just to show the other side of the coin. Everyone else has accepted Sonny and Will and that’s just not real life. At least now there’s someone to stand on the opposing soap box. I think this just adds more realism (which Days is certainly not known for) to the subject.
I just wish they’d keep their physical side behind a closed door. The gay people I know don’t go around kissing and making out in front of others.

Patti, your comparison is right on. But I think the writers did it on purpose. They purposely are making Nick a "hypocritical Christian", one who picks and chooses what parts of the Bible in which to believe, or selectively chooses which parts to which to adhere.
I believe that the writers are doing this because it reflects their views of Christians and Christianity, which is not flattering at all. As you all know, this is very common in Hollywood.
I have not watched for a while because the show was not interesting and has been completely repetitious. However, one day during lunch, I sat down to watch it. The sex scene w/ Will came on and it turned my stomach. I immediately switched channels and will not watch again. Maybe this makes me a hypocrite, too (since Bonbon is right–pre-marital sex is also taboo, as well as fraud, lying, stealing, adultery, lust, covetousness, murder, etc ).
I have been watching since the 1980s; I can watch no longer.
