Live in NJ, still without power but thank goodness that’s the only problem I have.

Reading these posts makes me feel like I haven’t missed much tho. Just had a chance to drop in for a sec to say hi and see what’s going on. Hope to be back soon.

You don’t realize how dependent you are on it until you don’t have it.  It’s kind of like, okay, what do we do now.  Hope you are at least staying warm.

When the kids were little in Illinois we had an ice storm and no electricity.  We put patio bricks on the stove (gas) and heated them up, wrapped them in newspaper and put them in bed where all four of us slept together.  We lasted three days of that and finally left to stay with relatives.

I can only imagine how being without power this long must be for you and your family.  God bless you, and I hope your power will be restored.  I take it that since you stated that thankfully that’s the only problem you have, I hope that it means your home was saved from devastation.  I’m praying for you and everyone else who has suffered.  May God continue to watch over you and the very best of luck to you and yours in what obviously is a very stressful time in your lives.

But, you are right in that you have not missed much with the show.  Thankfully, this will be the end of the Nicole/Daniel/Jennifer storyline.  I will not miss this one at all.  Not much else to talk about.  The show seems to have two speeds right not …. slow and stop!

for your good wishes. Finally got my power back Wednesday night about 6. Felt like New Year’s Eve with everyone on the street shouting and clapping, LOL. Yes, Patti, I did mean that my house was okay. Not near water but the winds took their toll on trees. My son’s house did flood though and he, my daughter in law, and their twins have been sleeping on my floor. Thank God, they finally got an apartment today, so we have a lot of celebrating to do.
