Ok, I get it’s a soap and there’s supposed to be lying. But isn’t there supposed to be a point to it? Gabi today really laying it on thick to Will about how they’ve been lying to Sonny since they slept together. Um, they specifically addressed the fact that Sonny hasn’t told Will about his past, how is Will lying to Sonny? Why do they really think he’s going to leave Will? And why is Will even considering basically giving up rights to his child just so Sonny won’t leave him?
As a side note, this whole Nick and Gabi thing is really giving me the creeps somehow. I just get a feeling that he’s going to become totally abusive and controlling with her. Way too much love too soon.
And Marlena lying to John about going to Kristen’s room. She’d rather give Kristen something to hold over her head with John than tell him the truth? What’s he going to do divorce her because she snooped on the woman that TRIED TO KILL HER? Seriously? Why isn’t he giving Marlena a free pass to be a little nuts? None of this makes any sense to me.
Any guesses on what Marlena walks in on in Kristen’s room with all the grunting? For some reason all I can come up with is John is trying to pull off her boots. There’s no way she’s getting those off without some help. I’m thinking I’m probably wrong.
Marlena is being written. She’s acting paranoid and not trusting her marriage. For Kristen it’s like taking candy from a baby and I would expect better from Marlena.
of hearing the same dialogue in the Nick/Gabi/Will day after day after day. I know it’s going to be a difficult choice for Will to make, but he and Sonny were not together when Abby and Will were. He knew he wanted Sonny, but when he made love to Gabi, Will and Sony were not yet a couple, so why not just tell him the truth. Sonny might just say, great and decide to share custody of the baby without Will having to deny his parental right. It’s Nick who’s being the jerk here. He does not convince me that he is caring about Will or his baby, but rather having a ready-made family with no consideration of the consequences to follow once the child is old enough and finds out he’s been lied to by his mother, his father, and by his step-father. TELL THE TRUTH, WILL. And I don’t believe it will be Nick to be the one to do any damage to Gabi or her baby …. I think if anything happens it will be because of Chad, once he finds out the truth, and we all have to know that sooner or later, he will get the whole story.
I was really hoping that Marlena would act a bit smug with Kristen and just walk away from all the antics that she’s trying to pull. The writers have really missed an opportunity to have Marlena act as the professional she is with a solid marriage that she has with John. It would have been more entertaining for me to watch Kristen try every trick in the book and just keep getting more and more frustrated.
I so agree, Patti, with everything you said. I am not only tired of the same old dialog, but am extremely tired at the whole storyline. I don’t like it one bit. Will should have told Sonny and I’m sure Sonny would have been very supportive. I think it’s Nick AND Gabby who are being real a$$es. I’m so sick of both of them. I was beginning to really like Gabbi and I always liked Nick but they are acting selfish putting Will in that predicament. And Nick is acting possessive. I’m liking him less and less.
I feel so sorry for Will as he is the one who is going to get hurt by all this. I know, he made the decision to go along with all this. But he is going to suffer seeing his kid everyday around Salem and that will hurt Will big time. And he’s going to agonize over lying to Sonny and his whole family. If they gave up the kid for adoption, that’s one thing, but Will is going to see his child a lot in Salem and that’s going to eat him up. I guess when Adrienne initally told Sonny that she knew Will would hurt him, I guess she was right.
