He brought in Kristen for the specific purpose to unite his fractured family. Remember how desperate he was? And Kristen has done nothing except pursue her own agenda. It’s been months now and we just occasionally see Stefano as a sounding board for her plots. The old Stef would have laid down the law and steered her back on track. Otherwise why is he even making these token appearances?
I definitely think something is in the works. He claims to not be after Marlena again but I don’t believe him at all. There will be some sort of plan in place by the time he returns.
I mean we see Stefano sitting in his parlor (which I would swear is the same set as the Mansion with a few changes) and suddenly there’s John at his door. Did he know where Stefano was all this while, and if so why did he not tell Marlena. Well, at least he took Marlena’s side in the conversation, which he certainly has not been doing while he was in Salem. I don’t know, it just appeared to me to be a re-write or something. That opening scene just took me by complete surprise.
Did anyone notice that Joe’s right hand didn’t seem normal? Like he can’t move it well? Or was it just me?
It almost seemed like a dream sequence or something, the way they were acting so friendly toward each other. I thought it was very odd… they were even sort of affectionate! So, so strange.
It was really weird – it was almost like Stefano was expecting him or was glad to see him, like they were long lost friends. I don’t get it.
Yes, Patti. I too thought it was extremely weird. I bet it was a re-write since it was so out of place and out of left field. Didn’t seem right.
And I have to add that it was great seeing John again so soon! (as long as he doesn’t go out of character again and treat Marlena like a piece of crap).
