Anything interesting happen today? We were interrupted with blizzard coverage here in Boston. Supposed to get 2 to possibly 3 feet of snow tonight and tomorrow. And we were having such a mild winter! Oh we’ll, that is New England for you!
February 9, 2013 at 12:02 am #37728PattiParticipanton our stations here in Maryland. Hope you and yours will be safe and sound through what looks to be another 2012/13 "storm of the century" conditions. God keep you all safe from harm.
Today’s show was pretty good. All about how Nick’s setting up Will and Lucas for blackmail. He purchased a surveillance/recording device and planted it in Will’s backpack, and then listens through an earpiece to everything Will and Lucas are saying about Lucas taking the wrap for Will when it was really Will who shot E.J. Creepy guy, that Nick; one thing that was cool was they used Chandler Massey’s real life little brother, Christian Massey, to play young Will in the flashbacks, and since he looks very much like Chandler, it was very believable to watch him play the younger Will. Even sounds like Will.
Then Chloe, in cahoots with Anne, were going to try and ruin Dan’s and Jen’s night, but Jen tricked Chloe into thinking they were somewhere other than where they were. Too bad, because Parker really does get sick and she can’t reach Daniel. His phone got crushed when he hit some drunk who was trying to hit on Jennifer, so he borrows Brady’s phone, who Chloe eventually calls since she thinks she can’t reach Daniel. Now, guess Jen’s going to have to pay the piper for this one;
More of how Kristen is going to plan to get Brady to marry her, then dump him at the altar. She does play a good drunk, even though she kept dumping her drinks out in potted plants. It has to be said, though I despise Kristen, you just can’t help but love the way ED plays her this time around.
Sonny and Gabi got into it and, since he knows what Gabi did in the Melanie fiasco, I think that’s going to be the next big secret that will come out.
Acting wasn’t bad today, and stories are beginning to blend beautifully. This week has been a good watch for me.
Hope you survive the blizzard without trauma or damage. Stay warm, and be sure and give us an update tomorrow.
February 9, 2013 at 8:14 am #37738BonbonParticipantthat flashback with Will and Lucas. Why didn’t they use the actual one. At first I couldn’t figure out why Will looked so different and didn’t remember him ever wearing braces. People who don’t read the newsgroups will wonder what happened.
I don’t understand what Kristin is doing. She ordered that first double vodka when nobody was even looking and then dumped it in the plant. So, why bother. But I’m anxious to see what she has up her sleeve. Yes, she plays a very believable drunk. As did the guy who was hitting on them. I’ve seen him many times in my younger days.

February 9, 2013 at 3:38 pm #37750MKParticipantThanks for that great re-cap, Patti and for the well wishes! It is still snowing here. The last of the bands are coming through and the blizzard warning should be lifted at one today. The town where I live got about 27 inches of snow with another inch or two expected. There are snow drifts everywhere but at least the snow was a light fluffy snow. We did not lose power even with some high winds, but a lot of folks down on the Cape and on the coast lost theirs. My boyfriend will come at some point to use the snowblower. There is a state-wide driving ban which may or may not be lifted today and we can not drive in my town until seven tomorrow morning. But my mother and I are safe and warm so I thank God for that!
February 9, 2013 at 3:51 pm #37752PattiParticipantbut remain safe and sound. So glad to hear you and your mom are okay, but hope you are soon able to get out of the house, and that you have plenty of food and water and other necessities in the house. You can’t even walk through 27" of snow to get anywhere. Nothing to do but sit back and enjoy the beauty of the snow itself, before its walked on, driven on, or plowed if and when they get to you. Good luck!!!
February 9, 2013 at 3:53 pm #37753PattiParticipantcan’t say I see the resemblance to his dad, though, like I did between Chandler and Christian Massey.
February 9, 2013 at 5:08 pm #37758BonbonParticipanton the service puppies I watch online which is in Ipswich, MA. There is an outdoor camera also and you can see, they have really gotten hit hard. They farmed out about 20 of the puppies and several of the big dogs to make sure they were safe and warm but still have about 8 of the big dogs in the house. Can you imagine spending a weekend with eight Great Danes…INSIDE!!!
February 9, 2013 at 11:27 pm #37764MKParticipantMy driveway still isn’t plowed. My boyfriend did his driveway and his neighbor’s and I could tell he was so tired so he’s going to do it tomorrow which is fine. I don’t like seeing the driveway with almost three feet of snow; it feels overwhelming and confining and is making me anxious (doesn’t help that I’m PMS’ing as well). There was a time this afternoon where I just felt so isolated and was ready to pull my hair out which I know is stupid because we and our house are okay. But at least it will get done tomorrow and we have more than enough food as we always have extra on hand; and we have power so I have a lot to be thankful for. I love New England but am beginning to hate snow (or at least so much of it). I like the beauty of it in small amounts, especially at Christmastime.
And Patti, thank you so much for your concern and kind words. It means a lot to me. I’m really looking forward to watching Days next week.
February 10, 2013 at 10:16 am #37769BonbonParticipanton Celebrity Appretice, I think maybe he’s taken too many steroids in his life. He acted very strangely. But I thought his son did an excellent job. It’s hard to play a believable drunk and not a charicature of one.
