I was surprised today to see how she told Dan he needed to have no contact with Chloe. She’s really digging in. If we’re looking for characters to change I’d say Jen is definitely leaving her ultra nice girl ways.
February 20, 2013 at 11:13 pm #38008PattiParticipantjust when I was so proud of her today for taking Chloe on a reality check of how she’s displaying her manipulation of Daniel, she goes and practically demands he cut off all ties with Chloe. I’ll venture to say that’s not going to work. Maybe Jen’s just sick of it all and will decide to leave the triangle. That would be my thought if it were me. It’s not worth the agony and the daily stress Chloe will continue to pile on Jennifer, since it’s obvious she’s not going to let go. Maybe Daniel needs Jennifer to walk away to prove her point, since he obviously can’t Chloe for what and who she is, no matter how much he tries to convince Jen and Maggie that he does.
February 21, 2013 at 3:24 pm #38019MKParticipantI was pretty taken aback by Jennifer’s request. I know she’s had to deal with so much from Chloe but I don’t see any way this is going to be possible. I know Daniel has said that he would not let Chloe interfere with his and Jen’s relationship and that he can handle Chloe, but Jen knows that this will be never-ending with Chloe. I think Jen really wanted to hear more assurances from Daniel but I guess no matter what he says or does, Chloe will still be interfering in their lives. Like you say, Patti, maybe Jen will just walk away from all this.
Is Chloe going to be moving back into the mansion? When Maggie told Dan yesterday that they were making all sorts of changes like changing dry cleaners LOL, I assumed Chloe would move back to the mansion. Daniel should insist on this. Chloe is so freaking annoying and so obvious! Only Dufus Daniel can’t fully see it.
February 21, 2013 at 3:28 pm #38021justwonderingParticipantI think he sees it. He just doesn’t want anything to keep him from his son. he know that he has to deal with Chloe in order to have access to his son. He is just very soft when it comes to women, which is why he gets into these messes. Actually, I don’t know why everyone wants to bed him. But given Chloe’s past, he probably could get full custody if he wanted.
February 21, 2013 at 4:16 pm #38026PattiParticipanthe wants everyone to believe that he can handle his dilemma and everyone else should butt out, when clearly he can’t see what’s right in front of him. Neither one of them wants to lose their child, so they’re willing to go along with people who are manipulating them to their own advantage. So, I say, let them handle it, and, when it blows up in their faces, they won’t have anyone to blame but themselves.
February 21, 2013 at 5:20 pm #38029dvalParticipantI am sick to death of the Dan and Jen show. Their whole relationship consists of having a fight, Jen chasing Dan around to say she is sorry and wrong, and then boom…back to another reason for Dan to be angry with Jen, then she feels sorry, apologizes and………..round and round we go. When they have their brief moments of peace together I enjoy them but this nonsense…blech.
February 22, 2013 at 2:10 pm #38040mommytutuParticipantNot to mention suicide for the relationship. There is absolutely no way Dan can have a relationship with Parker, but never have contact with Chloe. Is Jen smoking something? I too am sick of this whole relationship. Chloe needs to go back to Chicago, Jen should go back to England and take Abby with her. Let Dan raise Parker and leave it at that.
February 22, 2013 at 3:59 pm #38046justwonderingParticipantThere are many people who share custody and do not get along. They have go betweens or meet at a neutral spot. Details can be worked out by the court. Actually, if they were to go to court, there is a good chance Chloe could lose Parker.
Dan needs to set some ground rules for Chloe to follow. Jen needs to be there for Daniel without making demands of him. Dan handled it by making arrangements to stay at a hotel. Perhaps she needs to find a place of her own. If she has nowhere to go, how is she managing to provide for Parker? All of this would make it easy for Daniel to get full custody.
February 22, 2013 at 4:33 pm #38048BonbonParticipantwho needs to cease contact with Chloe. She should stay away from her completely and let Chloe hang herself. If Daniel chooses to fall for her tricks and subterfuge then she should have it out with Daniel, not Chloe. Maggie should butt out also. This whole thing is just so ludicrous that I can barely watch it anymore.
February 26, 2013 at 7:10 pm #38138maryanneParticipantWhy would Chloe, or any woman for that matter, want a man who obviously doesn’t want her? What makes her think that a relationship with Dan would work after all the water that’s been under the bridge? I wouldn’t want a man I had to trick into being with me.
February 26, 2013 at 7:28 pm #38139MKParticipantWell said, maryanne. But in Chloe’s case, I think she thinks she can make him fall in love with her again. She figures he was in love with her once so it can definitely happen again. She is so delusional if she thinks all these tricks will work. She’s pathetic.
