Love, love, love Kellie Pickler.  I had no idea she could dance that well, and boy is she built for those costumes.  I expect she will go a long way … maybe the next winner was the first to dance.

I also love Zandeya, the 16-year old Disney star of Shake It Up.  Not only is she a beautiful girl, she was so lovely to watch in her contemporary dance with Mark.  What’s with Mark’s hair this year?  Liked it much better last couple of seasons.  It just doesn’t look like Mark.

Dorothy Hamill is such an elegant lady, and her dancing almost looked like she was on ice skates.  Pure delight for me to watch her last night.

Of course, I’m going to be partial to Jacoby Jones — my love for the Ravens can’t help it.  Although I think he has a lot of natural rhythm, and will definitely get through this first round, Len seems to have already judged him in a poor light and that bothers me.  He was a little "hammy" but I think he was somewhat nervous performing for the first time.  And how about ole’ Len — a 3-month old bride groom.  Wonderful – kudos to him.

Well, at least nobody is going home this week, or poor D.L. Hughley would be saying "see-ya’."  Or perhaps Winona will be the first to go — who knows.  I’m just glad one of my all-time favorite shows is back, and with what looks to be some very talented people.  Miss my Maks, though!

Kelly Pickler too!  She has matured a great deal from her AI days and some of the other appearances she has made.  She’s not the giggly little girl anymore.  Although, I hope she never loses that great presence she shows us and the friendly, fun personality.

Dorothy has been and always will be one of my all-time performers in any genre!  She is soooo graceful and such a genuine lady.  I, too, thought she was as graceful as she is on skates!

I think Wynona has stepped out of her comfort zone into something that is absolutely terrifying for her.  I’m a big fan of her singing and I applaud her bravery in taking the plunge!  I hope she stays on at least a few weeks to be able to prove that she can hang with the big dogs!

Not a fan of D.L. or the lady from the Housewives show, or Andy Dick.  Although, Andy did better than I expected.  The Bachelor was okay, but I have no idea why he accepted the invite to participate…unless it was in the contract with ABC when he agreed to do the Bachelor.

I politely disagree with you Patti regarding Jacoby Jones.  He might have been nervous, but he was a bit too arrogant for me.  I’ll reserve full judgment until next week and see if he tones it down after the first night jitters.

We are now back to no dance experience with the participants and I like that.  Although, Zandeya does have the Hip Hop on her side…it’s still not ballroom dancing and she will have a lot to learn.  She and Val did very well.  I thought they and Dorothy and Tristan did a better job on the comtemporary dance than the GH actor and his partner.

I thought Kellie Pickler was really good.

Zandaya was very good and had the highest score.

Dorothy Hamill, what I can I say.  Ever since she won the gold in the Olympics, I have loved to watch her.  She is very graceful and I hope she does really well in the competition.

I didn’t realize Wynona was so overweight.   I was suprised she danced as well as she did.. Did anyone notice Wynona’s mother(Naomi), waving and almost dancing in her seat.  She needs to be on the back row.

Lisa Vanderpump(what a name) must have a loose screw the way she carries that dog EVERYWHERE she goes.  I couldn’t believe that she actually had that dog with her.  Crazy!!!

as regards Lisa I’ve seen her on Beverly Hills Housewives and that poor pomeranian Jiggs. He is constantly in clothing and you can tell by the way he walks it is restrictive. Sorry, but dogs deserve to be dogs, not someone’s infant.

I was never very impressed with Kellie because she was such an air-head but I didn’t see any of that last night.  I loved her hair and spent 1/2 hour today trying to make mine look like that.  Alas…

I too thought Jones was a little too much.  Like he was trying way too hard to be funny and didn’t know when to quit.

It looks to me, if things stay as they were last night, it’s going to be Kellie or Zandaya.  I thought they were both fabulous.

BTW, I’m sooo glad Mark let his hair grow back in.  He looks so much better now.

I miss the old pros that are gone.

acted last night.  It looked like Ashley was a bit embarassed and wished Mom would settle down.  Unfortunately, we’ll have to deal with her drama as long as Wynona stays in competition.
