Jen, there are no bears in Illinois, especially one on an island in the middle of a river, especially a river that is so wide you need to take a ferry to get to the island.

And how come Dan didn’t see Chloe looking in that window?  He was facing right toward it.  Was he so in rapture he was unaware of his surroundings?

I love it when someone on the show gives someone jewelery and they go on and on about how beautiful it is and blah, blah, blah.  Now, lets watch and see just how often she wears it.

was in Minnesota. Of course we don’t know for sure, but subtle clues the characters sometimes give makes me think that. I wondered the same thing about Dan’s seeing Chloe through the window. Plus, when he went outside with the broom, she was standing right there! He must be blind.

The snow doesn’t come in October and stay on the ground until May, lol!

it simply says Salem, USA.  As far back as I can remember, it has always been referred to that way.  They do make reference quite a bit to Chicago but you do not have to live in Illinois to travel there.

Salem was supposed to be in New England but over the years it has changed to the Midwest "near" Chicago.

in Illinois close to Chicago.  There are toomany references for it not to be.  And it has been in the same place since I started watching in 1969.

behind a tree.  That’s why Daniel didn’t see her.  By the way, how did Chloe get back to Salem so quickly? The ferry runs on a schedule & it was already quite late. I guess the writers don’t give that any consideration.
