If I didn’t know better, I wouldn’t mind Nicole with Vargas one little bit. I know some don’t, but I think they have tons of chemistry. Instead, they’ll probably be using one another. Nicole will probably try to use him to remove her lusting for Eric, and Vargas for whatever other reason besides the fact that the poor guy hasn’t even smelled a woman in 10 years let alone get involved with one. But, he probably will be using her in some way to plan his attack on Nick. Anyway, two lost souls, both baddie x-cons, shaping up for one another and eventually falling in love. Yep, I could get behind them if Vargas’ intentions were good, but I have a feeling they won’t be.
I don’t see anything in him either as an actor or a character.
From what he said to Nick the other day, it doesn’t sound like he’s going to do him any harm but to make him do something for him. It made me think it was maybe some kind of gambling scheme or something, taking advantage of Nick’s superior intelligence to set up something illegal that will get Vargas a lot of money. That’s why Nick said, “I don’t know if I’ll be able to do it again.”
