Zendaya and Kellie are going to be hard to beat. They both have such natural talent. I thought Zendaya’s pants kind of hurt her though. The black didn’t show up well and she could have worn something a little more “shaky” for her Samba. Both of them are just so amazing to watch. And what a great song Kellie’s DH wrote.
I thought it was so nice to see how many people’s best year was based on their child or spouse…very heart-warming.
I was glad Andy Dick did better but I’m afraid he won’t go far regardless of how much he improves.. I have never cared for him but have done a 180 since he’s been on the show and hope he can last a while. But, he’s got a new pro without any following and he doesn’t have much in the way of a fan base. He sure got to Carrie Ann though. It was a nice dance and I thought he did it well.
Sorry, I knew she wasn’t feeling well but that housewife just doesn’t have it. I don’t think she’s much better than DL…and that’s not much. He should NOT be there at all, I don’t think he’s got a rhythmic bone in his body.
April 9, 2013 at 2:18 pm #39139PattiParticipanteven when she appeared healthy, she never struck me as a dancer. Her pro, Gleb(?) is a really really cute guy, and he’s really trying to help her, but Lisa just doesn’t have what it takes. She sure looks good, though.
D.L. was much better last night, and I was so happy for him. He’s been harshly judged so far, so last night was a sweet surprise. I don’t even think he’ll be in the bottom 3 this week, as he seems to have gained momentum with the home audience, who can make you or break you, as we all know.
Andy Dick, on the other hand, can dance better than D.L. (but not by much), so I think he’ll be safe again. Plus, his courageous comeback from addiction and his love for his family is a huge plus for him. I thought Carrie Ann went a little too spastic on it, though.
Ingo and Kym were okay, but he’s such a big guy with such a long arm span that, when he does use his arms, it looks a little comical to me, because I feel like that’s all I see are his arms. I realize, it’s hard for these big guys to look graceful or fluid because of their size. I love Ingo on GH and wish him well.
Aly’s and Mark’s contemporary was beautiful, but she is a gold medal gymnast, so I would not have expected it to be anything but great, and it was.
The Bachelor (Sean) is trying, but his moves are not that great….but he sure is cute, as is his wife-to-be, Katherine. Peta is doing a good job with Sean so far. He’s a little bashful, but he is improving.
I don’t know why, but I really like Victor Ortiz. His posa doble wasn’t all that great last night, but he hung in there and performed it satisfactorily. I thought as a professional boxer, though, he would have had more aggressive moves. He’s got the sweetest smile, though. I’m sure he won’t win it, but he’s another one who seems to improve from week to week.
Jacoby was better, personality wise, this week, and his little boy is adorable. His Fox Trot may not have been his best dance, but he did well for someone completely out of his comfort zone. Karina must be talking to him about his silly faces, because he has toned it down and seemed more professional last night. Plus, I noticed he was friendlier to the other contestants than in weeks past. I knew he was just nervous and a little scared even at first, but he appears to be falling into step now. He’s still the best male dancer, though.
I agree it’s going to be hard to beat either Zendaya or Kellie, though. They seem to be the whole enchilada, head to toe – – both of them. Those two will probably go right down to the wire, with Jacoby in the middle. That’s my final three prediction, anyway. After that it’s anybody’s guess as long as they all stay healthy.
April 10, 2013 at 1:03 pm #39169PattiParticipantI know she was ill when she danced this week, but she was definitely the weakest of the bottom three (Victor/Lisa/Andy) to go home this week, although we’ve been surprised before. As with all these reality shows, when the fan bases of the stars saved kick in with the fan bases of the eliminated stars, we could easily see someone going home who doesn’t deserve it.
April 10, 2013 at 1:13 pm #39173MKParticipantI didn’t watch the results show last night but heard this morning that Lisa got eliminated. I didn’t know she was sick. I knew she passed out during rehearsels but didn’t know why. I think she may have had some potential but was too tentative in her moves. She was too reserved but I don’t think she was bad at all. I didn’t think she’d go far but DL, Victor and Sean were not better than her, IMO, though I too really like Victor for some reason.
