There is no way she could take Parker out of the cointry. All Daniel has to do is get an emergency injunction to prevent her from leaving until he proves paternity. Any judge would issue one in a second, especiall after Chloe has admitted to so many people that Dan is his father.

It’s shame, but it happens all the time. People use their children to destroy the spousal parent who no longer wants be with them, giving no thought whatsoever to the child, who will, later in life, feel he/she was abandoned by the missing parent. It sucks, but it happens. I just hope Chloe doesn’t do it; or, if she does, she doesn’t get away with it. Maybe she’ll just go off the deep end, wind up in an institution, and Daniel will get Parker anyway. Better for her, better for Daniel, and CERTAINLY better for Parker.

We went on vacations together every year since she was 4 and I decided I wanted to go somewhere different and thought of Mexico. The travel agent said it was difficult for a single person to travel with a child, you’re hassled constantly because a lot of parents take their kids out of the country to keep them away from the other parent.
We went to Hawaii instead.

They were 17 though which might have made a difference yet immigration does check their age when they stamp their passports. They probably look at it on a case-by-case basis. Those border/immigration people are pretty sharp.
However, I don’t think this applies in this case because certainly Nancy would have carried such a permission letter with her.
What surprised me here is that when Dan looked at her passport, why didn’t he just look at the most recent stamp and the date and he wouldn’t have needed Rafe to “bend” the law for him.
April 12, 2013 at 2:30 pm #39220justwonderingParticipantBetter, where was Parker’s passport? It would be needed for him to travel. Also what is Parker’s last name? That should indicate something.
April 12, 2013 at 6:44 pm #39222BonbonParticipantShe had Philip’s name removed as his father but what happened with his last name since no father was listed. I didn’t think they would do that, leave that area blank. Of course I suppose it could happen where the mother didn’t know who the father was.
But you’re right, Parker would have needed a passport to go to Brazil. Kids can no longer travel under their parent’s.
April 12, 2013 at 8:11 pm #39225justwonderingParticipantIf a couple is married, the husband’s name goes on the BC cause he is the legal father.
If the couple is not married, the father must sign a statement saying he is the father to be listed on the BS. Otherwise, no father is listed.
April 12, 2013 at 8:12 pm #39224justwonderingParticipantduplicate post sorry eom
April 12, 2013 at 9:27 pm #39227BonbonParticipantPhilip’s name was on the BC until she had it changed. But it came back mistakenly without Daniel named as the father. But, did they change Parker’s last name? We don’t know.
April 12, 2013 at 10:18 pm #39229PattiParticipantbecause he already made it clear to Chloe that he was going to "call Justin in the morning" and set up a new paternity test, because he saw the birth certificate revealed no father’s name, and Chloe agreed that it should be done. In the meantime, I’m speculating Chloe will leave Parker with Daniel while she seeks medical help in the form of some sort of therapy or rehab in getting her head on straight.
