I’m so disappointed. I don’t care for any of the three remaining to the point I don’t even care who wins now. I know Daniel wasn’t the best designer but at least I liked his personality best. What I didn’t understand is why he showed Tim that great colorful palette and then all three designs were black. I think his age definitely went against him.
And I was so convinced Stanley was going to win the whole thing and then he comes up with a bunch of garbage. I just don’t understand it. Another case where the show was manipulated? You tell me.
the show leading viewers to believe in one direction so we will be thrown off. I can’t believe these designers would agree to funny biz – at least not knowingly.
Some of these designers overthink it – I recall one similar instance where a contestant showed their “worst” three outfits, thinking they would save the best for the finals. But he/she never made it to the finals.
I too was floored that Daniel did not show some of his clearly better work.
I loved that blue dress of Patricia’s but she needs to tone down the rest as it is like over the top Native American instead of being an influence. I feel she does have the talent but needs to edit. Nina clearly was not impressed.
Having said all that I feel Michele will take it.she had way too much going on with the baggage on that coat. At least they told her to tone it down, but she seems to me to be the type who will take their criticism and then still do what she wants. I do believe these judges clearly think she has the best skills for high fashion on the runway.
I really loved Stanley’s work in the past — first part of this final, not so much. Everything he put up last night looked like it belonged in a catalogue rather than on a runway. He better decide to modernize, or he’ll be leaving next.
Patricia runs hot and cold for me. Loved her blue dress, but did not care at all for the "Tina Turner" topper! Adored her horse-hair top and thought the concept was brilliant, and I did not see where her textured black and white dress deserved such criticism.
Actually, I liked Daniel’s designs more than Patricia’s, but actually thought Stanley would be the one "out" last night.
consent to any funny business but I just wonder if maybe the producers may lead them like telling them which designs to us or to change this or that. Remember last night when Tim told Michelle she should go with all the accessories? I think that’s the kind of thing that goes on.
I remember once before the same thing happened. Tim led someone to do something opposite they were debating over and then the judges hammered them on it. I can’t remember exactly what it was but last night I thought, “That’s exactly what happened before.” Like I said, maybe I’m just too cynical but it seems these things are coming more and more to my attention.
I did not like any of the collections, especially Stanley’s and Michelle’s. Michelle’s had too much going on and it was weird. She will probably win though. I like Zach Posen as a judge. He gives good constructive criticism. Daniel is such a good sport and for someone whi is self taught, he did great and should be extremely proud of himself.
I hope Patricia wins. Stanley’s collection was old, dull, dreary, and awful. I did not get Michelle’s outfits at all. Patricia is not my favorite, but she is different, and to me, it’s better than the other crap I saw. At least she used a little color.
