Just curious, how are Victor and John having a private conversation in the living room at the mansion, and Adrianne and Nick chating in the foyer at the same time????
I didn’t even realize that Adrienne and Nick were in the foyer at the same time John and Victor were in the parlor. I wasn’t paying attention but I’m guessing they had the parlor door closed.
Vic closed the doors behind him. Still looked a bit odd though. But, then, this whole storyline is odd. John Black is unrecognizable to me. So sorry to see this happening to Marlena and John.
is just plain asinine. Nobody who actually loved his wife would do something like that, especially, by his own admission, at the risk of losing her. John, plug up that hole in your head because all of your brains have fallen out!
My other complaint is that it just doesn’t make sense that any father would go to such steps to keep his “grown” son away from a woman, no matter what he thought of her. This whole storyline is just plain ludicrous, unbelievable, ridiculous and any other adjective you can think of.
I was thinking yesterday while I was watching the show how dumb John’s plan was–on all levels! No one would do that to his wife or his son. Is John so stupid that he can’t think of another plan without hurting his loved ones permanently? It would be 100 times better to just leave it alone and let Brady find out Kristen’s true motives on his own rather than alienate both Marlena and Brady forever. John probably secretly just wants to sleep with Kristen.

Brady is after all a GROWN MAN and if he wants to make stupid choices well, then I say let him. Dumb John, very dumb.
If Marlena ever forgives him she is an even bigger idiot than Brady and for that to be true one would need a lobotomy.
right out of my head – how ignoramous can you get! This is melodrama purely for the sake of melodrama with Days trying to concoct some noble sort of SL when in fact it makes John out to be the biggest jerk out there. Brady is not ten years old who needs protection from Daddy from the big bad Kristen. No John, dumping your wife and family will not make you a martyr – it just makes you a supremely pathetic fool. What on earth has happened to John and Marlena? Did Days bring them back only to annihilate them like this?!
Really, am I suppose to believe that this man loves his son so much more than his wife and hates Kristin so much that he’d throw away all of his relationships to break her and Brady up? This seems more like a man who takes his wife’s love for granted and can’t let his son grow up. What a horrible storyline Days!
the DH’s don’t like it anymore than the fans do. I honestly believe that Gary Tomlin is doing this on purpose. He’s the writer who killed John off and consequently led to the DH’s being let go, he’s going down that same path with these two solid vets with years of history, and loads of family in Salem to create many s/ls to come. Seems he (GT) simply doesn’t like to write for them, so I see it as a sign that they are on their way out … again (along with BD)! Shame, shame, shame. I say keep the actors, fire the writers.
unless he has carte blanche in his contract. It seems Ken C is going along with this? I suppose they can say, see, we got all these nominations, so we must be on the right track. This SL is derailing big time!
