Leann Hunley is on NCIS tonight playing the younger version of Gibbs’s mother in law.

I am watching NCIS right now; I only glanced at the flash back and thought she looked kinda familiar.  I just don’t pay much attention to TV, I guess.

My hubby, who supposedly doesn’t watch Days, noticed immediately!  He pointed her out and said "Look who that is!"  Too funny from a man who doesn’t watch Days!

The resemblance to Gena Rowlands was amazing!  I didn’t catch the show at the beginning except I saw Leann and remembered seeing in the TV Guide she was going to be on.  It was uncanny.  I’m not sure they even had to do much make-up touch up to make them look so alike.  I also read that young Gibbs was actually played by his son.  Unfortunately I didn’t catch the first few minutes of the show and then got a phone call so never really knew what was going on.  I think I’ll try to catch it on line later.

It wasn’t a very big part but she was pretty funny.  I thought she looked much younger also.  Maybe because she wasn’t screaming all the time.  Gosh, she’s a pretty woman and I’d kill for her hair.

in a comedic role, and I thought she did a terrific job.  For those who missed it or do not watch Mercy, she played a victim of a bus bombing who survived but wound up with shrapnel or some sort of foreign object embedded in her brain, which, in turn, had a very strange effect on her libido.  Some of her scenes at the hospital with the doctor treating her were hysterical, not to mention so NOT the Sami Brady image.  I really enjoyed her.
