Sorry, but that was THE worst final ever, IMO. The girls did not sound that great to me, the song choices were lame and except for 2 or 3 of them, unrecognizable to me, and it sort of felt like the “end of the road” for American Idol to me. I actually felt sorry for Kree and Candice, because these are 2 very talented young ladies who should not have to be the butt of disaster stories and bad judging jokes when this show goes off the air permanently due to the poor selection of this season’s judges. JMHO! Anyway, my vote goes to Kree for the win, and only because her voice and music sounds like it would sell more records to me than Candice’s would. Again, JMO.
just like the whole season, and it really doesn’t have anything to do with the talent of the contestants. Most of the songs the contestants have sung this year have been unrecognizable to me. I don’t care too much who comes out on top, but sort of want Kree to win. I think it will be Candice, though. I have been wrong about every prediction I have made this year, however, so maybe it won’t be Candice!
On another note, I read that Keith would like to come back as a judge, so if Idol stays on the air, I would like to see the producers ask him to return.
I remember when AI used to be exciting and there was so much buzz around who should win. It is strange because this year’s lineup for the most part could really sing. I have to believe Idol has just become stale and the producers should not let this hang on. A 20% drop in ratings has to tell them something.
Perhaps they can still revive with judges that will gain viewership, but it is interesting the Idol began to slip with the departure of Simon Cowell.
I do agree if Urban wants to return Idol should welcome him back. He was not the problem and I enjoyed his presence.
Kree and Candice – do not have a favorite. That is telling too.I thought the final song by Candice was amazing!!!! Both girls are great singers, but Candice is just on a different level than Kree. I don’t think I heard a bum note come out of her all season. She deserves to win!
I do agree on Keith… bring him back! I thought he was a great judge. I wouldn’t mind bringing in Harry Connick Jr. as well. Then get one female judge and call it a day. Three is enough!
