I am so glad the writers didn’t have Sami go off the beam when Hope came clean about Ciara and the envelope. Yes, in the end it came back on Sami, but at least she didn’t go ballistic before she found out the whole story.
June 4, 2013 at 12:59 pm #39902MKParticipantSami was so obnoxious the way she went about demanding answers from Hope. I understand she wants to know what happened but she went off again like a bull in a china closet as if she is miss perfect. She only started to calm down when Hope told her that she was left to watch Ciera. Then Sami changed her tune.
June 4, 2013 at 1:24 pm #39904mommytutuParticipantOnce she realized that she was culpable too, then she calmed down.
June 4, 2013 at 1:30 pm #39905goodolddaysParticipantI don’t know why exactly, but I used to like Sami despite all her flaws. Now I just find her annoying. I’m always rolling my eyes or saying “Sami, shut up!”. She had been really obnoxious through this whole Will and Nick thing.
June 4, 2013 at 2:09 pm #39906PattiParticipantwith Hope, but then she became aware of several things. First, and foremost, this is her Aunt Hope, one of the people in her life that she truly loves. Next, there was the matter of Ciara hiding the letter and the reasoning behind it, which brought up the mother/children aspects of their conversation. Then, once Hope began talking about why Ciara was doing the things she was, it sort of hit Sami over the head with guilt, since she did realize that she was the one left in the room to watch Ciara until Hope returned, which she didn’t. Although I do NOT think it was Sami’s fault in the long run, because the Salem PD should have done a much better job in seeing that the information on Jensen was in fact received by Hope, I think Sami and Hope did a wonderful job acting it out. Their emotions were high, and by God, I do believe we saw Kristian Alfonso exhibit REAL TEARS, which is always hard for her to do. So, regardless, I’m not making this about Sami, but instead a beautiful job between two very talented actresses showing that in the end, all that matters is that their children are safe and loved, and that they know that they are. That’s my take on it, anyway.
June 4, 2013 at 3:41 pm #39908caseyParticipantto shoot up on her high horse in defense before she knows the whole story. I do not see the writers ever changing this. But I agree, that scene between Hope and her was well done.
June 4, 2013 at 3:48 pm #39909rngatorParticipantthat ej is responsible for getting jensen out on the technicality so he could go after nick and get him out of the way for sami.
June 4, 2013 at 3:51 pm #39910TFlo1018ParticipantThat Sami sort of thought of herself as a little girl for a second. Time she was robbed with her mom etc. Made her probably understand how little Ciara felt. Sami’s vulnerable state is always traced back to Marlena NOT being there.
June 4, 2013 at 6:38 pm #39911dvalParticipantI kind of disagree. I think Sami changed her tune as soon as she found it was Ciera who hid the letter and why. Yea she still tried to find someone to blame, but jeez, come on, her son almost got killedl by this guy and I really don’t blame her for wanting to know how his early release went unnoticed. I personally think I would want answers too. She softened on Ciera right away because I think she understood the problems right away. She was trying to palm off the blame on the cop until Hope told her that she was supposed to be watching Ciera. Then she immediately felt guilty. I truly feel sorry for the Sami character because no matter what she does she gets dissed, LOL.
