am looking forward to watching Days lately. I like how Marlena dropped the scared, pathetic loser face and looks stronger and more confident now – the old Doc. I also like how she’s being used as a shrink. Though would the police allow a suspect’s mother in the role of hypnotist? I also like how this Sami story is bringing in a lot of the cast. That’s what Days used to do so well.
Will be interested to see this Kristen/Eric angle play out. (and doesn’t Eileen look gorgeous in that pale pink!)
What I don’t like is the Dan/Jen/JJ story. And I’m still not drawn in by Abby and Cameron. Both unexciting.
But FINALLY, I can say I’m liking this show – keep it up please!June 19, 2013 at 12:37 am #40083PattiParticipantAs much as I hate to admit it, Doc is so much better on her own, at least for now. Love the way she confronted both Abe and E.J. I’m also glad to see Abe back as acting Commissioner, and the fact that the writers finally show the conflict of interest theory with Hope and Roman on the case, even though he allowed Hope to stay minimally involved.
I agree about Kristen’s outfit; she looked gorgeous in that pink bustier and blazer, and I loved her hair, too. So, her new plan is to not go after John’s son, but it’s okay to go after Marlena’s. Looks like the good padre has some danger heading his way.
I like Chad and Abbey interacting so much more than Abbey and Cameron. However, I hope Chad changes his hairstyle soon. He looks like that Sonic cartoon character.
Can’t get enough of DOOL right now. Way to go, writers!

She may be good looking on the outside, but she has a heart of stone. These writers think sensationalism is the way to write. They have again thrown a couple(Brady & Nicole) together in bed after only few minutes together. I know they are friends from a long time ago. The writers just don’t know how to write a decent sl.
I know lots of people like Nicole, but she can be a pest and I don’t care for the way she conducts herself at the rectory and how disrespectful she can be.
June 19, 2013 at 12:26 pm #40085caseyParticipantAs far as Nicole and Brady, I concur. It’s not so much the fact that they hooked up – I can see that as a rebound on Brady’s part – but he seemed in pretty good spirits for a man who was ready to defy everyone and break off family relationships for this supposed great love.
Kristen targeting Eric – yeah it’s despicable but isn’t that the perfect way to show just how evil Kristen really is? Days seems to be finally bringing Stef back to his original mafioso ways and now it’s his daughter’s turn to follow.
I’ve long been a critic of Days writing sensationalism just for the sake of it. But for Kristen to be portrayed as possibly the most demonic Dimera, Eric would be the ultimate victim.June 19, 2013 at 1:31 pm #40086PattiParticipantit’s okay with me. ED is such a fabulous actress; sometimes it’s really entertaining to watch Kristen and her evil ways, knowing full well that at some point she will fail.

(LOL, made me have a flashback to the "All In the Family" episode where Gloria buys a wig and Mike (Meathead) gets so turned on by it. Almost the same style of wig in both cases.)
