is still holding my interest intensely, and there were several things I really liked abut today:
1. Chad — love how he was so up-front today, both with Cameron and with Abbey. He’s not trying to pull the wool over their eyes, and I like that he isn’t trying to rush Abbey into a choice. Good move, Chad.
2. Lucas — loved that they (the writers) gave him some quality time with Ariana Grace. He is her grandfather, after all, and he should be a part of her life. I know BD has been put on recurring, and that just stinks. He belongs in this storyline NOW, not just with the baby, but with everything that’s going on with Sami as well as with Kate, and especially with meddling mama Adrienne. Lucas has so much history, and it is just not fair to exclude him from this huge umbrella storyline that is unfolding.
3. Brady/Nicole — although I love them together, I must say I was pleasantly surprised that the writers are going to go the “friends” route instead of the “fwb” one. That’s what both Nicole and Brady need right now and not hopping in and out of the sack every other day. It’s not healthy for either of them right now. Maybe in time they’re relationship can become a loving one, but for now I’m happy to see them this way.
4. Eric — I don’t think GV has been given the credit he deserves as an actor. Up until now he’s been quite boring. However, he was wonderful yesterday and today. So believable. I’m betting he will regain his full memory, and Kristen’s sick plan will once again go up in smoke. He may not remember what happened, but I like the fact that he’s having dreams about what happened, thus his picking up and staring at his collar and rosary beads today. If he can keep having the dreams, it may be the reason his memories return. In any event, kudos to GV for some terrific acting here.
5. Daniel — I so much am enjoying Daniel away from the Jennifer/JJ angst right now. I needed a break from that, and this is the perfect way to get it.
6. Jennifer — Ditto for Jen a for Daniel. Jennifer needs to see the monster she has created in her own son without Daniel trying to make her see it.
7. Adrienne — I can totally understand her reason for wanting to keep her son safe, and ridding his life from what she sees as Will’s “baggage” and family drama. BUT, at the same time, she is doing more harm than good and if, in fact, she becomes the reason Abe or Justin gets to see that video, she may as well kiss her son goodbye, since that will probably be Sonny’s final straw — maybe Justin’s as well. Too bad, because I think JE is also doing a great acting job with all she’s going through as Sonny’s mom right now. She needs to take a step back now, while she’s still far enough away from the edge of that cliff.
8. Nicole — this lady is not only a fantastic actor, but AZ has superb chemistry with everyone and anyone. I just need one more thing for her, and that is for her to be happy and in love and, unfortunately, falling in love with a priest is not the answer. Even if Eric decides to leave the order because he is conflicted with his feelings for her, I’m sure she will blame herself if he gives up his vocation. I’m hoping for a slooooow return to Bricole, when they both come to the realization that they have always truly loved one another and not been the rebound lover for one another.
Great show today!
about Ari’s consistent performances. She can show edginess and vulernability at the same time which makes her so watchable. I never tire of her on screen.
A few additional thoughts…
4. Greg is incredibly expressive. The tear coming out of his eye was so moving as he is fighting to remember what happened. I’ve read in the past that they would put something in an actor’s eyes to make them water, but this looked real.
8. Ari is so awesome she could make an idiot like me look good on screen. She needs a lifetime contract.
Greg Vaughn was such a great addition to Days! I like his character and his portrayal of a priest, and a loving brother and son. Ari Zucker is always great. Her scenes are never boring. Nicole is such a complex character and always interesting.
Greg Vaughn has been so consistently good since he has come on but especially so the last few days I hope they keep him around for a long time. And I really wish they would keep him as a priest but that’s probably not going to happen.

I disagree about Adrienne though. she is way too over the top with her nonsense, spouting it to whomever will listen. She even made Jen uncomfortable today in a scene that was strictly designed to give Abby wiggle room in her knowledge of the video. She is behaving like someone who needs a few meds of her own to control her mood swings. And of course this is all set up to break up Justin and Adrienne so we can have a Hope/Justin fling. and if Adrienne keeps acting like this she won’t have anyone to blame but herself although I certainly don’t want to lose JE because she is also a terrific actress.
If you want a blueprint on how to alienate your son her behavior is textbook. I can’t stand the thought of Justin and Hope.
We finally have Kate somewhat under control so now they’ve made Adrienne the new meddling mama. I really don’t like this side of Adrienne. I also don’t want to see a Justin/Hope pairing. Bring on a new actor to play Bo, but please don’t break up Justin and Adrienne just to give Hope a man.
being way out of character. Adrienne did a 180º accepting Will and now she’s doing another one bad-mouthing him again. It just doesn’t make sense.
I don’t want them to put Justin with Hope either. It didn’t work last time, it won’t work this time.
