but I’m so ready for a rest from Sami. Her actions and 5-year old antics yesterday left me wondering what in the hell I see in her. I still love this character, but I was repulsed by her myself yesterday. I don’t mind her getting into it with Kate — I’ll take that anytime; however, in two days she’s been thrown out of Rafe’s hospital room twice; she’s been thrown out of Eric’s office; and she simply will not accept what’s right in front her eyes — that something about her is dangerously upsetting Rafe. That alone should be enough to keep her out of his sight. Then she runs home to E.J., stomping and clomping around, using every childish pout she can put on, and still not seeing how wrong and seriously harmful a situation she has created for Rafe. I swear, I could have banged her in her mouth myself yesterday, and I love her to death; but I need a break from her foot-stomping spoiled brat carelessness.
July 11, 2013 at 3:06 pm #40317shadowParticipantVery good comments!!!!!!
I have been wanting someone to put a muzzle on the ranting Sami and tie her up where she can’t get loose. She is REALLY getting on my nerves the way she has been carrying on. She has no common sense and all she thinks about is herself. She thinks she is superior to others and she can disregard anyone who gets in her way.
How stupid she was when she went to Jennifer and begged her to get Daniel to tell her what was going on with Eric.
July 11, 2013 at 3:33 pm #40318rngatorParticipantsupported her in her stomping and yelling. he does like to encourage her in her rantings. i guess that’s why they get along-they encourage each other in their complaining about others.
July 11, 2013 at 4:14 pm #40319caseyParticipantdon’t know when to quit on this character. If you take it too far too often it becomes a turnoff. And it tires me out watching her!
July 11, 2013 at 4:23 pm #40320BonbonParticipantI have always liked Sami too, in spite of her juvenile ways but yesterday I kind of thought to myself, whoa, babe, are you really this dense?
I hate to say this because it’s something we always spout when things aren’t going the way we want them to but I think someone needs to have a come to Jesus talk with these writers. They are going so far over the top with some of these characters, they can’t see the bottom.
July 11, 2013 at 4:33 pm #40321dvalParticipantJust when you think she has turned the corner, boom, the writers give us a day like yesterday and it all goes right back to ground zero with her. PLEASE WRITERS…let her grow up and stay that way. It is really nice when she uses her hard head for something more than getting her own little way.
July 11, 2013 at 4:35 pm #40322BonbonParticipantI’m just not feeling this supposedly major coup he’s just pulled off against Stefano. I can’t exactly put my finger on it but something isn’t quite ringing true about the way he is acting. It feels very vague and unsettled to me. Anybody else know what I’m talking about?
Besides, with a major take-over like that, he’d have to be at the office at least 18 hours a day sweeping Stefano loyals out the door and making sure the ’empire’ is going to be run according to his orders. That’s hardly something you’d leave to a subordinate. If not, he’s soon going to find his (and Sami’s) butt out on the nearest park bench.
I also found it a little bit strange hearing Chad spout his vitriol against Steffie. I mean, what precisely has he done to Chad to make him feel that way and call him an SOB? I’m sure Chad is not the angel that would be so offended by what he’s done to someone else, i.e. Sami. At least Kirstin was honest about who’s side she is/will be on.
At this point I think there are only two possible ways this storyline can go. Either Stefano will have to wage an all-out, no holds barred, major war against EJ or he’s going to have to leave with his tail between his legs…permanently. Given Joe’s age, I wouldn’t be surprised that he may be considering retiring the Phoenix for good. But given the very few actors who have actually walked away from their roles permanently because of age are pretty slim. The only one I can think of is Mickey.
Speaking of that, I wish to hell they’d finally do something with Bo. Enough already!!!
July 11, 2013 at 7:09 pm #40325PattiParticipanteven if E.J. and supposedly Justin has been planning this coup, obviously off-screen, five months simply doesn’t begin to equate that speed of allowing him to simply ‘take over’ ALL of Stefano’s holdings, his companies, his home, and any and all of his assets. Unless we begin to see Stefano unleash a DiMera/Kiriakis war on E.J. as well as Justin, and fulfill his promise to "bring E.J. to his knees", I would have to agree this is the beginning of the end of the Phoenix. Somehow, I just can’t make myself believe this is what will take place. I think his plan will be to use Sami and his known whereabouts of the mysteriously non-existent razor as his human shield when he is ready to take E.J. down.
July 11, 2013 at 8:28 pm #40327annieoParticipantOur electricity has been off almost 24 hours and I just read yesterday and today’s show summaries. I didn’t even watch and my blood was boiling about Sami’s antics with Rafe. Give it a rest. I’m not a huge Sami fan anyway, but this is ridiculous. She absolutely has no control about anything or anyone. And altho I thought the pink dress was a nice color for her, the style looked like it belonged on Gabi, not Ari’s grandma.
July 12, 2013 at 4:06 am #40334lynnekarenParticipantshe FLIES into and out of a room like she’s on fire. It’s so over the top. Her entrance into Jenn’s office yesterday was ridiculous. She is exactly as you say, a foot stomper.
July 12, 2013 at 11:15 am #40335KseeParticipantBest comment from Sami! "I’m the best liar and secret keeper in the entrie planet!!" oh lord !! liar yes but secret keeper that’s too much
July 12, 2013 at 4:07 pm #40342justwonderingParticipantI am far more interested in Stefano and how he will fight this latest coup. I understand that EJ felt betrayed when Stefano threw him out becuase he wan’t his on. I cant buy that because Kristen and Tony weren’t his and he accepted them. Also, I I remember correctly, EJ tried to take over once before Stef’s empire once berfore and also threw him out of the house, so EJ has no loyalty to Stef. I also don’t get Chad’s reaction. Just can’t make up my mind about Chad.
My problem with EJ is he is heartless as can be seen by the way he treats "family". It doesn’t take him long to turn on anyone, -Sammy, Nicole Sydney, now Stefano. His need to be in command "don’t ever talk like that to me", one minute and doing the couch thing the next. If I were Sami, I wouldn’t do the couch thing the same time I am told to behave and obey. I just don’t buy fight sex!! Almost as bad as grief sex.
I look forward to Stefano prevailing in the end.
