I don’t think this is particularly a problem coming only from my computer because it isn’t happening on any other site. Is anyone (besides me) having trouble posting? They are taking so long that a couple of times I have hit Save again because I didn’t think it took then ended up having duplicate posts. I’ve noticed duplicates from others so wondered if they were having this same thing happening to them.
Of course, I’m convinced my CPU is inhabited with either a poltergeist or an extraterrestrial alien. That’s the only explanation I can come up with. One weird thing that is happening is that when I log on in the morning my sound is turned way up (scares the heck out of me AND the dogs). I go to the control panel and correct it and the next morning…same thing. I also downloaded a small program and later found out it had also loaded 14 other completely unrelated ones.
Lately, when I post it does take a long time for it to actually go through. I am always tempted to hit "save" again, but if I watch the little wheel at the top (I use Safari), I can see if the computer is still "thinking" or trying to post.
I use Firefox and have been trying to post but it gets wiped out, telling me the comment field can’t be empty. Ugh! I finally, tonight, had a lightbulb moment and tried a different browser. So…Opera works but there is quiet a nail-biting type wait-time.
Which is strange because I had been posting for years on Firefox. It just started all of a sudden.
I post here on IE. Tried Chrome but it was way too slow.
