Can somebody please explain to me how Marge Bernardi would not be suspect to $100,000 showing up in her son’s bank account after years of an accumulated sum of less than $50.00? Shouldn’t she have been the one to go to Abe with this information, or did she think Joe’s insurance company automatically made the deposit into his son’s account? Why would this woman not even question where this money came from if she did not truly believe her husband was on the take. This woman’s story is just not making sense, but she needs to step down off her soapbox and start asking some questions here, unless, of course, she already knows the answers.
I used to make deposits to a volunteer grps. acct. all the time and never took notice of the balance until the statement came in the mail. I really don’t find it odd that Marge wouldn’t notice.
The kid is so proud of it, he probably gave it and his deposit to the cashier and took it back and put it in his backpack. Makes sense to me.
my kids accounts when a deposit was made to be sure it was correct. I, too, find it odd she wouldn’t notice that balance. I’ve thought from the get go that she knew more than she let on.
