I’m sharing with everyone the e-mail I sent to JennM. today, as well as her response to me. Guess we just have to remain patient, but at least we know she’s making the attempt to do something about it. Keeping fingers crossed!!! Here is my e-mail and her reply:

I have no idea why it’s acting up. A friend of mine who is proficient in the platform (software) that the website is built from, has offered to take a look – not sure when but sometime this week.

I can’t even post, while logged in as an admin :( I can “edit” somebody else’s post so I chimed in there).

I’m hoping my friend can fix it, if not, I’m not sure what I’ll do. Hosting is paid up til May… but I don’t have time/money to sink into having it redone. I don’t like the format – the friend who helped me reconfigure things (and then left me hanging)… thought it would be a better format, but I’ve had more problems with it. I had to turn off new registrations because I literally got thousands of spambots trying to register….

If somebody knows how to put vbulletin or something like that on it, I might consider that (and that means starting all over yet again…) but I’m not tech-savy enough to do it myself.

    Discouraged a bit.

Maybe my friend can fix it… fingers crossed.

Hi, Jenn …. I know you’re busy, and I sympathize with having to liquidate your company. Just thought maybe you didn’t know that sometimes we can reply to a post, but not often. Does that mean someone has been working on the board, or is it just some sort of fluke that sometimes we get through with a reply, and are blocked when we try again? It has all of us totally confused. If you have any news, we sure would like to hear it.
