As much as I love her and applaud her courage, her attitude, and her overall outlook on life moving on, it was time for her to be eliminated from DWTS. Not because she was that bad of a dancer, but more because there was no one left at this point who was worse. I know many people, especially the older stars, get what is commonly called the “sympathy” vote, but Ms. Harper would have none of it. I commend her bravery and her stamina to even ATTEMPT to keep up with the far younger and indeed more talented dancers who are left to compete. My heart goes out to her in her challenge and I sincerely wish her well. She is a very positive lady, and that is half the battle when you are facing your own mortality. God bless you, Valerie.
