What is this now, the second year in a row? I can’t keep track anymore. But I do know this is RIDICULOUS. Just another way the show continuously disappoints for me. Why can’t they figure out a way to settle this? It’s absurd.
They can always kill off a character. Heck, in soap land nobody is dead unless the actor dies…and not even always then, e.g. Bill Horton.
I’m really getting tired of all these lame excuses and don’t believe hope would ever stand for them.
It’s out of character for Bo and for Hope. They could say that Shawn is ill or Chelsea. They could claim he’s helping Shawn start some type of business. There are a million plauseable family related excuses they could put forth or just kill him off. Regardless, not explaining his absence from his young daughters life for this period of time let alone during the holidays just makes Hope and Bo look like idiots.
coming for Hope which will probably be starting very soon. I also read that John is going to have some “news” for Hope, so maybe Bo is in prison or something along those lines (JMO). If not, I vote they kill him off and stop this ridiculous absentee husband/father storyline.
I hadn’t considered prison. That could work. Realistically this is a soap, Hope needs to move on if Bo isn’t going to be around. I’m all for her having some solo adventures but if Bo is going to be out of the picture long term let the girl have some romance already. She’s in her forties right? Still young enough for romance! I mean you’re never too old but she should still be a leading lady.
sometime this week to again give her the bad news that he will not be home for Christmas. Stupid, lazy writers — just off the guy already.
Because of that spoiler. Last year he called too, if I remember correctly. Could you imagine, IRL, not being home for your 7/8 year old daughter, 2 Christmases in a row? Or ever really. (military aside)
