Okay… I get it – they’ve been setting this up for a while (EJ talking to Abby about the book… the Angel etc.) E.J. needed to "distract" Abby from contacting Hope. Abby is an insecure little girl. E.J. hasn’t "gotten any" from Sami in some time. All the pieces have fell into place. But….

Just goes to show you that 2 good looking people can have NO chemistry on screen together – I think that’s why we were spared the "intimate scenes" we usually get. GROSS GROSS GROSS!!!
On a side note there is a lot of potential to this story if done right… E.J. keeps this a secret…. the Nick story wraps up… Sami goes back to E.J. Let’s NOT have Abby be pregnant but let’s flesh out her character. We can turn her into a FULL ON SOCIOPATH and have her do to Sami what Sami did to Carrie. The difference being Sami is NOT Carrie so it can be a full on battle with Sami forgving EJ for doing what he did and going HEAD ON with nutty, YOUNG Abby. Another preggo story is such a snooze. Please Please Please don’t do this writers.
with the heat of 1,000 suns; but, it could be interesting if they did go with a much greater variation of Abbey being a sociopath, as you suggest, instead of the school-girl stalker she was with Austin. I did have to laugh when she said, “OMG…Sami will kill me!” If not, a good suicide storyline would be fine with me, as I find Abigail Devereaux to be one of THE most boring, anal characters this show has put on contract in quite a while….and, while we’re at it, NO MORE PREGNANCIES, DOOL!!! YOU GOT THAT???? (As Victor Newman from Y&R would say).
Yea – let her off herself. We haven’t done a suicide story line in a while. Something different at least and gets rid of the character too!!! (Note to all – I don’t condone or glorify suicide – this is just a soap story.) I know how "some" of you can read out of context
Wow, lots of hate for Abby. A young naive girl with limited experience. What about EJ? A sophisticated, man of the world.
Where is his culpability? Before you tell me, she became the aggressor, he is older and should be in control!! I don’t buy the "well, he has got any from Sami for a long time". Is he an animal? Also, afterward, he engages in pillow talk— "it was lovely", the very things are young girl would want to hear from a powerful man like EJ. Than they engage again!!
Yes, Abby will become delusional and obsessed, but IMO this is on EJ.
As far as being a sociopath- this – a person with a psychopathic personality whose behavior is antisocial, often criminal, and who lacks a sense of moral
responsibility or social conscience.

Kidding… (well not really.) I’ve always hated Abby and that was prior to this week – my hate is not directed at her b/c of her romp with EJ. It’s directed at her b/c she is a BORE!!!
They were equally responsible for what happened… She’s supposed to be a Horton and she’s supposed to "know better" isn’t that correct? E.J. obviously should know better as he is a grown man and is in a relationship. It takes two to tango.
My sociopath comment was in jest – as in it would be GREAT to see her become an all out nut job (ala Kristen) since E.J. set it up for her to think it was "lovely." That would fuel her fire and send her into a place where she thinks it is something it isn’t. I don’t want a preggo storyline. I want to see Sami find out…. forgive EJ and for Abby, since she’s such a snooze fest, have something to do. What better then to go after EJ like a full blown nut job andd have her go head to head with Sami – bitch vs. bat sh*t crazy young woman.

I am not trying to "blow it out of proportion" at all. Manipulating a young woman IS a big deal.
Everyone can make a mistake, but to do this to decieve (it was lovely, smooch, smooch) is disgusting!!
Whether you hate Abby or not has nothing to do with my comments. In case YOU didn’t realize, I really detest EJ, and I always have. Right from the beginning when he moved in across the hall from Sami and began his quest to bed Sami because his father wanted him to. I won’t BORE you with other incidents when EJ’s true colors have continued to come to the surface (hint hint trying to freeze Lucas, kidnapping Sidney and pretending she was dead, etc,etc.) Every action in his life is the definition of a sociopath.
As for me, I, too, hope Sami finds out. However, I hope with all my heart, that she is smart enough to put the blame where it belongs
on EJ! If she can find it in her heart to FORGIVE this latest betrayal of her love, then they truly deserve each other.As for Abigail, she is young, dumb and impressionable. Hopefully, she will grow up and mature.
By the way—-if you knew the definiton of a sociopath and can’t recognize it describes EJ to a tee, then you are not as smart as you think! Only kidding – NOT

let’s review a little Abbey history here. Case(s) in point, Austin and Carrie, ignoring, lying to, and/or manipulating her best friend into going on that ski trip just to trap Austin into bed (even though she knew he was there with his WIFE), which friend, through that entire little stalker storyline, tried with all her might to talk Abbey out of going after Austin, a VERY MARRIED MAN; then there was Abbey the tease, trying to burn two sides of the candle with her mixed emotional messages, sexually enticing poor Cameron on more than one occasion, who really was a sweet and loving guy who truly cared for her until he finally wised up; and let’s not forget Abigail playing Cameron against Chad with her ping-pong actions regarding who she wanted to be with; oh, and can we also not forget, E.J. tried several times to stop her in her tracks, but Abbey turned aggressive, touching E.J., undressing E.J., kissing E.J. first, ignoring his trying to reject her advances, but by that time they were both like two cats on a hot tin roof and by then Abigail knew exactly what she wanted, and what she wanted was to bed E.J. DiMera, KNOWING all the while that he was an engaged man; but, oh, yes, let’s give Abbey the golden angel medal of honor because she was “young and dumb and full of ***, and E.J. was the wolf in sheep’s clothing? Poor dumb, inexperienced little Abbey. Personally, she is the perfect description of the ways of the mother passing down to the daughter, however, I like Jennifer much more than her daughter. Now, please don’t get me wrong….I’m not completely defending E.J. What I will go so far as to say is that both Abbey and E.J. were wrong, and like Eric said today, hiding the truth always finds its way to the surface sooner or later, so I’m sure E.J. will get his just desserts eventually, but please DO NOT try and convince me how pure, innocent, demure and inexperienced Abigail Horton Devereaux is in this unholy mess. By the way, justwondering, most of the time I love your posts, but I get it ….. you hate E.J. DiMera, and that’s your right!!!
I know that Abigail is no angel and that she has a history of going after unavailable men. I am not trying to pin a medal on her or call her a angel. (There are no angels on DOOL) But she IS young, dumb and naive. She is a babe in the woods compared to EJ.
Yes, it takes two to tangle but if one says no that it is a no go. Since EJ is more mature and worldly and so in love with Sami, I would think he would have more self control. As dopey as Austin was, he resisted Abby’s charms.
If as TFLo insinuates that EJ bedded her to keep her from butting her nose into Gabi’s business, then EJ is even worse. Then it wasn’t a loss of control, it was a calculated move.
Thanks for your compliement about my posts, believe me I get it– you love EJ and Sami together as a super couple. But they can’t be too super if there is not trust, whether or not they are having trouble.
I enjoy reading your posts and your insights and you are entitled to your opinion. I think that I have been on here long enough to be entitled to mind. I am simply pointing out another point of view.

was not offended – I just think you took my post and blew it out of proportion is all. You referenced my EJ not "getting any" from Sami comment as though I was justifying his actions – which I was not. If you re-read your "Hatin on Abby" post you’ll see what I’m talking about.
You hate EJ – great. I like him but I LOVE SAMI!!! I also love them together. To each his own for sure – that’s why this board exists right. Just seems some folks on here take it to a whole other level.
