I read ahead on my TV programming guide on DTV. Friday says (okay HUGE GASP here) Abigail learns she may be pregnant. Well I just gotta say, if this wasn’t the singularly most predictable result from this storyline I don’t know what is. Couldn’t we get just one original idea from these writers? Please, just one, and of course, she will keep it to herself until the very moment of the wedding during May sweeps, which will hardly be a huge surprise or sweeps worthy moment if you ask me. Although it will be fun to see Sami clock EJ upside the head with her bouquet or whatever she can get her hands on. But really, how dull, boring and predictable can you be writers? I mean, how about sexually communicated disease or something, which will require EJ telling Samantha about his fling (I know these things wouldn’t be discussed on daytime except during commercials, but at least it would be different.)
due to the stressful situation she has been experiencing with her feelings for E.J. and now his obvious rejection of her. Sort of like knocking her cycle off its axis or something. God knows, if she’s pregnant, it’s just a plot device for these writers to use for AS leaving the show, and if that is so, I simply would not be able to handle it and would be smdh…..again! Might be time for TomSell to depart, especially since, besides this horrific story, they have never shown any interest in writing for Dee or Drake, and with him returning this week, I so hope the writing for John Black to be much improved from his last stint, which to me reached the point where he was just phoning it in, so to speak.
As for Abigail and E.J., these two characters were unrecognizable to me from the inception of this storyline, so anything other than what I’m hoping for will be a complete fail, IMO. I despised the storyline from the very beginning, and would not want to see these writers try to justify the coupling of KM and JS any longer.
I thought that they film 4 months advance so this would have been filmed before Alison’s announcement , unless she told TPTB long before this. perhaps this storyline helped Alison make the decision to leave cause aAmi has been betrayed by EJ yet AGAIN.
I know that we will never agree about EJ, but I find this to be very mcuh in character for him. After all he set out to get Sami pregnant ( cause his fatha said he should). Then he moved on to Nicole in the elevator, which of course product a pregnancy (cause he has super sp*rm). Then he went back to Sami (while Lucas was in prison), next back to Nicole, sho he threw out when he thought that Sydney wasn’t his child. Somewhere along the way he fell so hard for Taylor. When johnny almost dies, he ended up woth Sami, so IMO EJ will be with anyone ( don’t forget his fling with Kate) who looks his way. I will never believe that he knows the meaning of love.
As for Abigail, she is young, dumb and possessed with EJ’s charm which he has flashed her way more than once. Once might be a mistake but I cannot count the number of encounters they have had.
