I mean, they are the same ones Abigail helped Johnny bake at least a week ago, right? It may even be longer ago than that, I can’t remember.
March 5, 2014 at 3:17 pm #43028MKParticipantIn soapworld though it may only have been two days that have gone by since they baked the cupcakes.
March 5, 2014 at 3:59 pm #43029PattiParticipantif that’s the case, which I personally hope it is, how can Abigail suspect a pregnancy. She certainly wouldn’t be having morning sickness if the conception took place even a week ago.
March 6, 2014 at 12:43 am #43042powerpaw2ParticipantMaybe they can reverse SORAS baked goods because I thought a few days had to have passed.
March 6, 2014 at 1:31 am #43046dvalParticipanteven if it was only two days well, I would never bake that far in advance for a bake sale. The day before max. Anything else is old.
March 6, 2014 at 8:36 am #43050BonbonParticipantHope emphasized that EVERYTHING was $4. The kids were each buying a cupcake. Does that mean they were paying $4 for one cupcake? That is absurd. Even if it is a fund raiser.
March 6, 2014 at 12:54 pm #43052bluebonnetParticipantAiden sell even one cookie for $4. Seems dumb to me especially since most of the customers were little children buying just one cookie or cupcake!
March 6, 2014 at 1:43 pm #43056justwonderingParticipantHey, it is a private school so most of the children will have money!! I couldn’t believe it, I thought it was for the PARENTS to buy, not the kids.
March 6, 2014 at 1:51 pm #43057PattiParticipantwas just crazy. That means one cookie cost $4.00, but a whole cake also cost $4.00. Really, Hope? Guess your brain flew out the window on that decision. What they should have done is maybe make all cookies $1.00, brownies, maybe $2.00, cupcakes, $3.00 and a whole cake $4.00. That way parents would not be offended when they saw their delicious whole cake being sold for the same price as one cupcake or, even worse, one cookie. Bad decision, Hope.
March 6, 2014 at 3:55 pm #43062dvalParticipantas one who has run/participated in many bake sales I know $4.00 is ridiculous for each item. Maybe 4 cookies for $4, 2 cupcakes, etc. Back in the old days we charged $.50 per cupcake, LOL. I get that if you went to the “cupcake store” and paid a lot for the cupcakes you might be upset to see them sold for the same price as made from a cake mix which are considerably cheaper but that’s your choice. And anyway what kid is coming in to buy a whole cake to take home after school anyway?
March 7, 2014 at 2:05 am #43073PattiParticipantotherwise Daniel just paid $96.00 for them. LOL!
March 7, 2014 at 10:54 am #43074BonbonParticipantI wonder if they were all real or just artificial props. (If they were real the cast and crew must have had a ball!) There were certainly a lot of yummy looking goodies there. I often wonder how they can complain of costs on these soaps yet spend money on boxes and boxes of baked good. Same when they have weddings, or whatever, and all the flowers they have on set. The Kiriakas and Dimera mansions always have fresh flowers as does the Horton Square and the nurses’ desk. Is all that really necessary?
When Burn Notice ended they had an auction of all the props. I was amazed to find how expensive some of them were. Designer sunglasses, purses and luggage, Rolex watches, designer label suits, Jimmy Choo shoes, etc. I mean, how many people could tell whether these things were real or fakes on TV?
March 8, 2014 at 12:56 am #43084powerpaw2ParticipantI REALLY wanted Michael Westen’s little telescope type thing, but it went way above my limit. God knows I miss that show!
March 8, 2014 at 8:05 am #43087BonbonParticipantI bid on a couple of things but when they went way over retail price, I gave up.
I really miss it too. I just wish I had started watching it from the beginning but I think, with the reruns, I probably eventually saw them all. And they are still rerunning the episodes now.
