Practically all the women had on sparkly dresses for the wedding. One would have thought Sonny and Will were getting married in Las Vegas. I know sparkly dresses are in style right now, so I guess all the women decided to follow the trend. I thought the dresses were pretty for the most part, but it seemed overkill to me–like they all called each other and agreed to wear sparkly dresses.
April 2, 2014 at 2:01 am #43274BrandyParticipanta bit much. Was there anyone at the wedding who looked like a normal person? The dresses weren’t even very pretty, in my opinion.
April 2, 2014 at 2:05 am #43275lynnekarenParticipantEveryone looked very festive, it seemed appropriate for Will & Sonny. Well, I did think Gabi & Sami had on way too tight/short dresses.
I loved most of the scenes today, but I can’t help but feel I’d be more vested in the wedding if it were old Will.
April 2, 2014 at 4:11 am #43278justwonderingParticipantActually, I liked all the sparkles. I thought they were very classy looking. Jordon reaaly looked nice. Like Abby’s dress, but not her straight hair and the lipstick was way too red. (IMO)
Did Gabby cut her hair? Also Maxine’s dress was very nice, but her hair was kind of limp.
April 2, 2014 at 1:07 pm #43279MKParticipantI, too, really liked all the sparkly dresses! Reminded me of the early 90’s. I thought most looked beautiful. I did not care for Gabi’s hair. I think she had it pinned up underneath to make it look like she had short hair. And I thought she had way too much makeup on. I realize it’s a wedding and people usually wear more makeup, but I like her look better when she is wearing less as she looks much prettier. And her lipstick looked way too dark (and as you mentioned, Abby’s was too red and didn’t look good). Can’t wait to see today’s episode!
April 2, 2014 at 1:11 pm #43280MKParticipantIt’s funny and I’m probably in the minority here, but I really like this new Will. I never thought I would accept anybody else in this role after Chandler left as I liked him so much. But I was pleasantly surprised. I really like this Will as much or even more than the old one. I liked him from the beginning and he has grown on me even more. He seems more grown up or looks older than the other Will and I love him with Sonny. Whatever it is, I am really enjoying new Will’s portrayal.
April 2, 2014 at 2:47 pm #43283PattiParticipantbut Gabi’s dress was a little too short for my taste. I know she’s young and that’s the way the young girls wear their dresses, but I just think it was a little too low cut and a lot too short. LOL. I thought the make-up was a bit overdone on both Gabi and Abigail; other than that I thought everyone was very stylish for what appeared to be a formal wedding. Loved Sonny’s and Will’s tuxes and I am very happy that DOOL decided to do this wedding right for a change. A little drama between the mammas was to be expected, but other than that I’m truly enjoying it. Of course, I expect E.J. to save the day by showing up with Marlena’s certificate; otherwise, I can’t see anyone but Sami being completely happy that he is there. Well, Sami and me, of course. LOL!!!
April 2, 2014 at 3:08 pm #43286trykeryderParticipantbut I don’t think the sparkly dresses were appropriate for a daytime wedding.
April 2, 2014 at 3:31 pm #43287goodolddaysParticipantI’m still not fond of this new Will – he just seems so subdued and not as emotional or expressive as Chandler. As for the wedding – why do people on soaps always get married on a weekday afternoon?
April 3, 2014 at 1:00 am #43290BrandyParticipantWill, too, for the same reasons you like him, MK. He seems mature, and he immediately took over the role with such ease. I was very impressed with his acting abilities.
April 3, 2014 at 1:06 am #43291BrandyParticipantbelieve I just said that. Was it real late at night? Lol.
