Looks like EJ has run into someone who hasn’t the slightest idea who he is or even cares. I wonder what he expected from a place that sells mail order ordainments.
Personally, I think that whole thing is a waste of time. What was the purpose?
Tell me, what were the writers thinking with that whackjob? Certainly the Dimeras could have come up with a fake certification. And what was that nonsense about him being with Sami? Sometimes I really wonder about these writers, if this was the best “drama” they could put into the wedding. Bonbon, as you said, what a waste of time!
Here’s Sami trying her best not to do anything to mess up the wedding and she is inadvertently causing the problems. I call that Karma, big time, LOL. The story of Samantha Gene Brady in a “nut” shell, so to speak.
I could have done without, but I liked E.J.’s role in it because he wasn’t only helping Sami, but he was going to bat for Marlena, even more than for Sami, and I thought the way he handled that screwball, Carlos or whatever his name was, was comedic and yet very smart of him to make it appear to that whacko that Sami did, indeed, do him a favor, and it worked like a charm. And, no, I don’t think anyone else could have handled it, because as soon as this nut job brought up Sami Brady, anybody else would have been practically crucifying her, just as everyone does everywhere, except E.J., who actually is in love with this woman. Too bad it will probably all hit the fan and will be used as an exit storyline for AS. Hate that part!
