Jenn not believing Daniel when he drinks Liam’s drug cocktail orange juice? Dan’s comment from yesterday about Jen’s concern over whether he’ll be fit for surgery seems to set up the suspicion. But regardless, if she doubts him it is extremely poor writing even for kneejerk Jen. There is no history of Dan using illicit chemicals for any reason.
April 10, 2014 at 1:48 pm #43381MKParticipantIt wouldn’t make sense for Jen to doubt Dan about using drugs but given her track record lately, that is exactly what she will do. I really hope not though.
April 10, 2014 at 3:11 pm #43382PattiParticipantfor that same reason. Daniel is supposedly a renowned surgeon who has an A-1 rating with the hospital itself, so I doubt this will go too far before loony tunes Liam is discovered.
April 10, 2014 at 3:40 pm #43386BonbonParticipantrun free all doped up or drunk all the time but the first sign of something amiss, they’ll probably be all over Daniel and nobody believing him. Yawn!!!
April 10, 2014 at 7:43 pm #43391dvalParticipantBecause this Liam thing is a bit over the top right now. He has his finger in almost everyone’s life and it’s more than just a touch unbelievable. I’m sure he’s the one that was piecing together the scraps of paper so now he can set up Nicole to ruin the life of someone else she supposedly cares for. He’s more than just crazy, he’s a totally loony toon.
April 11, 2014 at 6:29 am #43403BonbonParticipantwhen he went into that operating room in less that optimum condition. No surgeon in the world would jeopardize a patient by trying to operate when he was feeling like he was and keep insisting he was okay. Bah!
But as far as finding 15 mg. of Dilaudid in his system, that’s a bunch of hooey. I take 16 mg. of it every day and it doesn’t make me shake, blur my vision, sweat or anything else like he did. It would probably make him sleepy but not much more than that. Now if he had gotten it intravenously, that might be different.
Something else… A general surgeon (which he has demonstrated many times that’s what he is) would never do a cardiac by-pass surgery. Heck, most cardiologists (mine included) don’t even do them. They leave them up to specialized cardio-surgeons to do.
April 11, 2014 at 3:34 pm #43413PattiParticipantit was evident that he was anything but. No surgeon would attempt to go near a patient, let alone insist on doing a procedure, when he feels like he’s going to pass out or is shaking uncontrollably the way Daniel was. He should have realized something was horribly wrong, and not just that he was “tired.” Ugh….these writers sometimes!!!
April 11, 2014 at 6:17 pm #43417dvalParticipant16mg all at once or in 8mg doses twice a day or 4mg 4 times a day? From what I’ve read that’s a pretty high dose all at once, at the max end of dosing.
April 12, 2014 at 5:56 am #43422BonbonParticipantI take it over 24 hours, 4 mg at a time. Didn’t think about that. I don’t, however, think they would keep him in the hospital for that. It wears off in four hours. He can just sleep it off. Maybe they didn’t want to let him go home but to sleep it off at the hospital.
