and I know everyone is waiting for her to get her HEA with Eric, but she’s such a pathological liar that I find no sympathy for her plight any longer. I agree with Daniel in that if she had simply told the truth from the beginning, perhaps Eric would have still chosen her over his vocation. If Daniel gives her one last chance to tell Eric the truth and produce the evidence, and Eric still chooses to stay with her, then I will back her to the wall; however, if she continues to spin her tales and refuse to own up to her treachery, then sorry, but she deserves to lose him.
Of course, all of the women on this show are written the same way. I guess for me it’s just that Eric is so in love with God, the Church and his vocation that it would devastate him much more than, say, someone like E.J. or Brady or probably any other male on the show. My heart just bleeds for Eric in this situation. Fess up, Nikki!!! Then, perhaps both God and Eric will forgive you for it.
He’s going to be so confused when he learns the truth, but, still, I’d rather he heard it from Nicole than from Daniel. If Eric truly loves her, he will probably forgive her, but she has to take that first step. I do agree, if she convinces Eric to run away with her and get married, and then he discovers the truth, he will have to consider everything they have has been based on her lies, and that could be the end of them….forever. It may even force him to leave not only her, but his life in Salem as well. Too bad they wrote her into a corner like this.
She’s such a pleasure to watch. The way Dan had to force the truth out of her, I don’t know when or if she will tell Eric. I see him finding out elsewhere and it will be devastating.
I was beginning myself to think she is innocent. :o)
In only two or three minutes her face went through the gauntlet of emotions. I just can’t say enough about her abilities.
And you know what would be a nice surprise is if she tells Eric and he immediately forgives her. That would blow us all away, wouldn’t it? Of course it’d put a big hole in the future storyline of Nicic.
