Maybe someone else took notice so I’m just wondering. The past couple days Gabi wore this bright purple nail polish. If she had this when she was doing that photo shoot, understandable. But if she sported this afterwards, is it realistic for the character? Gabi has been portrayed as a nervous wreck and for someone who comitted murder, would she take the time to polish her nails – and that color?
Just seems odd to me.take place just yesterday? So it wouldn’t be unusual for her to still have the polish on.
What I want to know is how their polish is always so perfect, unless it’s put on freshly every day. Unless you have acrylics, they start chipping off the ends almost the next day. At least that’s my experience.
That dries under lights and it lasts forever. I forgot what it’s called, but you have to put it on and remove it at the salon. I’ve done it twice, but never again. It’s so harsh on the nails.
Are you thinking of gel nails? They are better than acrylics because it is applied right over the nail but last forever!!! They don’t chip and you can take them off yourself. They last 2 to 3 weeks and are reasonably priced.
First I was the only person they knew that had it chip off at the corners anyway and within days. Story of my life, LOL!
Second I had gotten my nails back in shape after years of acrylics and they have never been the same since I tried that stuff. No more. But yes on normal people it lasts forever.It’s not the same as gel nails. It is a polish that is supposed to last like acrylic nails. But you have to have it taken off at the salon by soaking and/or filing. Just as bad for your nails as acrylics, if not worse.
acrylic and gel for years u til I developed some kind of allergy and my cuticles broke out in blisters. So, I have been bare naked for about eight years now and my nails are still crap. Thin, brittle and they chip, crack and peel. Never again.
And now they are saying those ultra violet lights are very bad for your skin also.
But yeah, they wrap the nail in acetone and foil to get the polish to loosen. They look great, but they are hell on your nails. I have really strong nails and when I did that they got thin and brittle and it took 6 months for them to get healthy again.
