the writers are grooming Eve to be a replacement of sorts for Sami? They kind of look a bit similar and Eve appears to be a kind of bad girl. Hard to say yet if bad girl you love to hate or bad girl with a heart or what.
didn’t want to say anything. I thought it was my imagination, Casey, lol. Wasn’t she a bad person before? I hear she was worse than Teresa. I’m guessing in less than a week, we’ll probably be able to see if she’s bad/bad or bad/with a heart.
but I don’t recall detesting the character as I do with Theresa. But my memory kind of fuzzy on her.
I was a kid when Eve was on (Charlotte R.) A very different bad girl than Sami. Whether you like Sami or not you can always sort of understand where she was coming from. And most, if not all her crimes, were done for "love." Or Love how she saw it. Kidnapping Belle to sell her was def. an act of love for her father. Her crimes against Carrie was for her "love" for Austin etc.
Sami was/is a bad girl that you LOVED to hate. Very different from Eve if you ask me.
Eve was in the same category as Theresa. I would have called her mean as opposed to downright evil like Theresa. It was a long time ago but I never considered Eve a mainstream character, more like what Jordan is now. Of course with this new actor, we may see absolutely anything.
Since I didn’t see the second half of the show (thank you, Obama!) and someone said Eve is Paige’s mother, I’m surprised. I thought Paige was living with an aunt who was supposedly drop-dead gorgeous. It seems that would fit the bill better than her being Eve’s daughter. They certainly don’t have an iota of familial resemblance which Days is usually pretty good at. Did you see them together or was there just a reference made? TIA
was the gorgeous aunt that Paige was living with. I’m really confused, though, because I quit watching Days for several years when Eve was on the show, so I don’t know much background about the Donovans.
Yes, at the end of Thursday’s show, Paige came home and her mother, Eve, appeared from the back room and surprised her. They hugged.
They are alluding to the fact that Paige is Eve’s daughter and that Jack was her father…. bad news for JJ.
They were close and Paige’s mom,who we now know is Eve, called and they thought she was in the apartment so they had ice water thrown on them.
Eve and Theresa are sisters from the remark Eve made to Paige about “Grandpa Shane.” But what I can’t understand is how Theresa wouldn’t know anything at all about Paige, yet Paige knows about Theresa (oh, my head!!!). First, it isn’t that common a name and, second, Eve and her daughter would have to have been estranged from Shane and Kim since before Paige was born. And, since Paige and JJ are the same age, that means Eve must have still lived in Salem when she had her. Oh, the confusion.
Then, as to who her father is… I guess it could be Frankie but I’m leaning more toward Jack. (My head is unclear about them being married but I vaguely recall it wasn’t actually a marriage of love. And it’s possible they had a “brief moment” after they were married. I understand that is very common after divorces. Actually, I know first hand it happens.

at least she knows she’s JJ’s girlfriend. At least she’s mentioned it to him, sarcastically, on several occasions. What I don’t think she knows is that she’s her niece. She certainly knows Eve is her step-sister, but Eve mentioned on Friday that Theresa has not seen Paige since she was very small and was hoping she wouldn’t recognize who she was. She evidently knows Theresa is a trouble-maker, thus her warning to Paige to ‘stay away from her.’ So I’m guessing Eve and Theresa do NOT get along at all, so rather than my initial thought of Eve protecting Theresa, she will be going against her in any and every way she possible can, and if people think Theresa’s bad, then, as the saying goes, “they ain’t seen nothin’ yet.”
Another thing ridiculous was Eve and Paige are broke. Yeah, like Shane wouldn’t be able to send his granddaughter to any college she wanted to attend.
Considering the ages of Abby and JJ, I doubt Paige is Jack’s child. However, maybe she is Frankie’s daughter.
