I don’t know which sis I cannot stand more – Theresa or Eve. Eve is so obvious with her put-ons like today with Daniel. Who couldn’t see through those saccharine compliments? And to think both were spawned by Shane!

July 10, 2014 at 3:57 am #44590jessad7ParticipantI like both of the actresses that play Theresa and Eve. I’m not crazy about their characters, mainly how Theresa is written, but I find both actresses very likeable. They seem very natural on screen. Granted, Kassie has been in the business for a long time, but I didn’t feel like her character needed any breaking in. I like her as Eve and I like her with Jennifer. To me, Eve and Jennifer are a lot more exciting than Jennifer and Daniel on screen. The only thing that’s throwing me is her southern accent.

Shane Donovan would never allow his children to be paupers, and neither would the Bradys from Theresa’s side, except for the fact that they both are obnoxious, money-hungry divas who will stop at nothing to prove just how low they will go. The actresses have nothing to do with how I feel about these two *itches. I almost wish Jack would come back, somehow, and end all of this misery for Jennifer. I’m so sick of how the writing for her has spiraled into a facsimile of her being in hell most of the time, and it’s going to get a lot worse. As for Eve, the only thing she has going for her is a sweet daughter who doesn’t know enough about her mother’s past to see how she really works. I love both actresses, and I’m sure they’re enjoying being the mean, bad sisters from hell, but I’m about done watching them destroy the likes of Jennifer and Jack, along with their children, along with characters like Brady and John Black, and practically anyone they come in contact with who doesn’t see things their way. I can only hope that in the end they will truly get what’s coming to them.
July 10, 2014 at 1:23 pm #44592mommytutuParticipantHow could someone as good as Shane Donovan have such hateful children? They are the most despicable people on Days.
July 10, 2014 at 3:07 pm #44593midwifemamaParticipantAnd how did someone as poisonous as Eve raise such a sweet, sensible girl as Paige?
July 10, 2014 at 4:28 pm #44596bluebonnetParticipantsays about Scarlett and her children in Gone with the Wind? Something about the most hard-bitten characters usually have the mildest children. I can’t remember the quote exactly, but it meant that often parents have children who turn out to be opposites of what they are. Anyway, that reminds me of Eve and Paige for sure!
July 10, 2014 at 10:16 pm #44601caseyParticipanthis and Scarlett’s daughter? It definitely didn’t apply there as she was a hard-headed brat like her mother!
July 10, 2014 at 10:45 pm #44603bluebonnetParticipantIn the book, Scarlett had two other children, Wade and Ella, and Rhett was referring to them. They were both pretty meek children. Rhett may have said this about those two children before Bonnie was even born–I can’t remember.

July 11, 2014 at 3:23 am #44617jessad7Participantthe character of Eve was never in the South, was she? It just seems odd to have an actress with a southern accent doing her character. That being said, I really do like Kassie in the part. I guess Paige said she met Ben in Miami, maybe they did spend some time in the South? But then why doesn’t Paige have a southern accent? Just a consistency problem I’m having, I guess.
