It seems the posts here are getting fewer and fewer every day. Does that mean we are satisfied with what we are seeing or is it just so blah there is nothing to discuss. I pick the latter.
And doesn’t it appear that for the last two weeks or so, all we are seeing are couples rolling around in the hay? Let’s see, it’s Hope and Aiden, Ben and Abby, Kate and Clyde (barf), JJ and Eve, and probably not long before they add Paul and Theresa (or Sonny), and Jordan and Chad.
And if it isn’t in real time, it’s flashbacks. That smacks of lack of imagination to me. Somebody needs to poke these writers and wake them up to get them to start writing soap opera material again.
December 7, 2014 at 12:33 pm #46068PattiParticipantSince Paul is Gay and Sonny’s former lover, I have no reason to believe that we will see him in bed with a woman. I do agree about the board, though. I definitely see a much slower pace with the posts, and most of the time they are negative. For me it’s because the show is that bad right now, more than half the cast are "newbies", the vets are being ignored, horrible sweeps, and the storylines are filled with repetitive dialogue, not to mention they stink. Wonderful time to start the new year with new writers.
December 7, 2014 at 2:11 pm #46069mommytutuParticipantI can only watch on weekends and as of this morning, I skipped all of Monday’s show because I was interested in any story and I started watching Tuesday’s show and ff through most of it. Not sure if there’s a day I must see or should I just skip it all? I guess I should see who Serena is just so I have a clue.
December 7, 2014 at 6:47 pm #46070caseyParticipanthold an open forum with viewers to see how SLs are faring with them. I don’t know how much they are aware of the audience opinion and afterall who are they writing for but we the viewer? Moreover, I just do not for the life of me understand how they can think they are producing edge of seat drama or even moderate interest in characters. Sex scenes are for the most part lazy writing, as are repetitive SLs. Why is Jordan here, as the long-awaited payoff for her and Ben shivering in their timbers over Clyde was a huge bust. She’s just a whiney, self-righteous uninteresting character with no spark. Eve is simply ridiculous with her only purpose to keep Paige and JJ apart; Jen has become an overbearing parent who cannot communicate; Theresa no one can stand.
As for Clyde, as a villain we haven’t seen much – let’s move it along. Let’s also move along Aiden’s past. I hope Mel’s bag of trouble is worth all that cash she’s carrying.
Days is limping along and a shadow of its past. Is there any hope?December 7, 2014 at 7:02 pm #46071TFlo1018ParticipantIf this is intentional or not…. Make it to 50 years old next year and can it – wonder if that’s what Corday REALLY wants?!? Such a shame… I miss 90’s DOOL – but I guess we’ll never see that again.
December 8, 2014 at 5:02 am #46072BonbonParticipanta bisexual?
December 8, 2014 at 2:13 pm #46073PattiParticipanthe’s not giving me that impression. From what I gather, he’s a gay man who’s still in love with Sonny and using women as a beard to hide his sexual orientation. Can you seriously not see that?
December 8, 2014 at 5:32 pm #46076caseyParticipantmay be taking a page from the current sports news where that openly gay football player tried to latch on with a team. He did briefly but sadly I don’t believe he’s with any now.
December 9, 2014 at 12:54 am #46081powerpaw2ParticipantI haven’t been able to watch in over 2 weeks, but it sounds like things have been totally blah.
