Marlena has a terrifying showdown with John, Ben, and Shawn.

Allie told Lucas about her conversation with Sami. She thinks it’s a no brainer that Sami and EJ are over
EJ threatens to call security on Sami. She shows him the divorce papers
Ben can’t believe Marlena is possessed. Shawn: “You’re not Marlena Evans anymore. Your Satan himself.” John nods
Marlena tells Ben that it’s not true and that John got to Shawn. Marlena reminds him that you should never believe an abuser. Shawn is defending John and said he never would lay a hand on Marlena
Shawn: “Marlena is my mother-in-law and I love her. And if she told me that John was hitting her I would believe her. But this is not her.”
Belle is at Ben and Ciara’s. Ciara asks for Claire’s safe wordMarlena accuses Shawn of victimizing the victim. He wants to untie John so he can tell Ben the truth. Shawn can’t get the gag off
Shawn: “She’s scared to death that John is going to save her. That’s why she locked him in that crypt and left him there to die.” Shawn knows John will save Marlena
Shawn is insisting that it’s true and that Marlena wants John out of the way because he knows the truth

Lucas thinks this isn’t a good time to focus on his love life. Lucas: “The one I feel sorriest for is John. He is so determined to find Marlena, but what’s he going to do when he finds her?
Allie said John was the one who ended it last time and hopefully he can do it again. Lucas said they have to hope and pray
Belle is going to the cabin. Ciara is freaking out. Belle: “My dad keeps saying that love is the thing that can conquer evil. And I am my mother‘s daughter. That is the weapon that I have.”
Belle is planning to use her existence as John and Marlena’s daughter to help. I love that call back to how she helped the first time
MarDevil called Ben a fool and busts out a necktie “I always come prepared.
The tie is choking Ben, and John breaks free and is calling for Doc
Sami said after shooting EJ in the head what she did with Lucas is like a 3 on a scale of 1 to 10. She said even if she walked away she couldn’t stop loving him
Allie credits Sami with saving EJ after the fire
Allie is worried Sami could get kidnapped again. She wants the kidnapper to pay
John is trying to reach Marlena “Sweetheart I know that you’re in there and I know that you can hear me.” He tries to say he loves her, and the devil chokes him
The devil won’t let John talk about their love, and Belle plans to use her love for Marlena to help. The power of their family will take the devil out
MarDevil is at the door: “Why don’t you give it up fellas. Mere mortals are no match for me.” And Belle hits her over the head with a rock!
EJ said he’s happy to see Nicole. Sami is insisting that EJ is still in love with her
EJ said he’s going to draw new divorce papers. Sami puts the wedding ring down, calls Nicole trash and leaves
Belle: “I’m sorry, Mom. I love you.” She runs to John she and Shawn untie John. She’s so sorry she knocked mom out
John called Belle “Baby girl.”
Belle told John that she came to tell Marlena she loved her and she thought that would get to her “You can and you will, Sweetie.” Marlena is gone

Ben goes after Ciara. Belle asks if things can get any worse. John says oh yeah

EJ said that Nicole is the woman he wants and the woman that is perfect for him right now. She said she was thinking the same thing and kisses and hugs him. He looks at his wedding ring
Sami came to tell Allie she got a message from Belle but she couldn’t hear it. She asks if Allie heard anything about Marlena
Sami tells Allie and Lucas that she ripped up the divorce papers
Sami said she isn’t giving up on EJ. Lucas says he’s not giving up on her either
Ben comes back to the apartment and Ciara wants to hit him with a bat
Ciara is sorry she left without telling him. Ben is sorry he didn’t believe her
Belle makes sure John is OK. Shawn asked how John do where to find Marlena. John said this was the most logical place to look
John thought he could get through to Marlena before the devil shut him up. Belle is worried about how they’ll find her now
MarDevil tells herself she should have dealt with Belle long ago. “It’s time she and her cop husband pay a heavy price. And I know exactly how to make that happen.”
