Kate and Stef

if for no other reason than the fact that they’re two of a kind.  There is no deed dastardly enough for them to consider reeking upon anyone, including their own children.  Stefano keeps his under his thumb, and Kate kills hers with interfering in their lives.  But, together they are probably one of THE most entertaining couples right now.  I love the way Kate knows exactly how to appease Stefano, when to speak, and when to shut up.  She knows all too well that as long as she does what she is told, she is Queen of the mansion, and she knows how to play her cards well.  E.J. on the other hand is competing, or trying to anyway, with Stefano in the "do as I say, not as I do" department.  What I’m seeing now is junior has jumped back in with both feet, doing whatever he can to stay on Stefano’s good side, even running the business errands when he is told.  I had to give Sami a lot of credit for standing her ground with the old man today, but Kate’s line about the Brownies was funny, even though I would have loved to have had E.J. walk in and hear her say it. 

What was her first comment about the brownies? I heard her say to EJ that she felt the urge to bake, but missed her original reference to brownies when she was talking to Stefano. I saw them high-five, so I figured she said something funny.

I do remember the poison brownies now that you mention it. That IS funny.

and they compliment each other so well!  I hope they have a long and "happy" marriage! 

I initially figured Kate would be plotting from day one to untangle herself from the marriage. But I really enjoy this one and Days could take it way further, having Kate on more equal footing w/Stef and the two uniting to form one of the delightfully wickedest partnerships in soap!
