Did everybody quit???? I know things have been boring, but there are lots of new people coming and going? This can’t be the only board people here read, is it??? Too bad!
this board, too. I thought maybe it was because many people were gone on summer vacations. As far as the show goes, it seems to be going ok right now. (I have been enjoying watching Serena squirm. I love that actress.) There is always a lull after May sweeps, but there are supposed to be some interesting young people coming on the show that should pump things up for the summer.
I just think there is nothing to really comment on right now. Just waiting for a lot of these storylines to play out and the new stuff/anniversary arrivals to happen.
Here’s one question though…I thought Ariana’s birthday was in May, not June. Misremembering? And who closes a coffee bar in the middle of the morning on a work day week to have a child’s birthday party?
When Caroline said yesterday that she can’t believe Arianna was two already, I thought that was another Alzheimer’s moment she was having. Then I saw the happy 2nd bday signs. I guess I was having the moment, I thought she was only one.
I don’t think anyone cares about her storyline. Did anyone think she wouldn’t sleep with chad? There’s no drama there. Even if Chads fantasy played out And he told her about Strefano, she said she was out of there. Who cares? All he would have to do is tell her no she isn’t and she would crawl back in bed. The way he was telling her what was going to happen was odd. I’m not sure if it was the acting or the writing, but it seemed off. It was no, no, no, now, yes, yes, yes, and kiss and pull each others clothes off. It didn’t seem to have the intensity it should have.
Brady proposed to Melanie and I never saw anything after that. I am so busy finishing up nursing school and coaching my 12 year old daughters travel softball team, I have not had any extra free time to catch up. I also don’t read any other boards, and get all my info from this one
When things are hopping the forum picks up. I think this stretch however is partly due to Days’ preemption last Thurs/Fri. Plus too it’s kind of lagging with boring, predictable Abby, the nice guy but lowkey Ben and the less than scintillating Adrienne/Lucas affair. And how ridiculous is adolescent Will, finding every and I mean every oppportunity to get in digs about Paul. I felt his telling Ari today that Paul was ruining their lives was so juvenile and uncalled for. Yes, she can hardly understand the words, but the attitude can’t be healthy. BTW Paul seems to genuinely like Ari. Did you see her smile at him?
Lastly, when is Rafe going to perk up? He’s been a fringe player for far too long and this going after Clyde with Hope is stagnant – all talk no action. We need some drama here. Look at how the Kristin SL moved right along.But for some reason it won’t let me start one when I click on that option. Not sure what is going on. There’s even a double banner at the top of the page. I wish I could attach a screenshot so maybe someone would perhaps have an idea of how to fix it.
When Xander lost it at the end of the show the other day, he reminded me of Billy Zane’s character in Titanic when he went nuts, grabbed the gun and chased Jack and Rose.
I knew he reminded me of someone, but couldn’t think of who it was! I think the actor plays "dark and scary" well.
