Throwing A Horton Out WIth The Bathwater

I get that Chandler Massey has a job in Atlanta, that I have no problem with.

But wasn’t there a need for the writers to have written for Massey’s Will to bring up that he & Ari miss Salem & that they will be coming back home to Salem, so is there a need to throw Massey away again by giving Will a Hollywood job & yet, having him to keep it quiet from Sonny again?
