What is it with Rafe grilling Hope on what’s wrong w/Abby? What biz is it of his on private matters between Hope and Abby?
at least I think that’s where he’s going, and Aiden is seeing it, I’m sure. But I agree, that certainly wasn’t any of Rafe’s business and even after Hope told him it was a personal family matter, he was still pushy about grilling her. I think this is what the writers meant when one of the spoilers said Rafe is beginning to show some sort of feelings for Hope other than being a cop buddy with her. Too bad, because I’d like to see Rafe have a good relationship with someone that’s definitely NOT Kate. He seems to be using Clyde as an excuse now just to get close enough to Hope to make it appear that it’s all cop business, but he is obviously starting to fall for her. Too bad, Rafe, because once Beauregard gets back you and Aiden will both be left out in the cold. I have a genuine feeling that Bo’s missing was certainly not his choice. Bo returns to the screen in September, and Aiden is gone in November. Gee, who would’a thought that would happen? Supposedly we’ll see some surprise other departures before this year’s end, as well as returns not mentioned yet.
I really love Hope and Aiden together and the whole Bope thing is over and done with for me. I don’t care if he was being held prisoner by ISIS, I just wish Bo would have stayed gone.
Well hopefully – so not a fan of Galen or Rafe. Don’t let the door hit you…… LOL
I wonder if the writers planned this whole Rafe/Hope thing and then BOOM – Peter’s return/new writers disrupted that. Or if this was a tease? Not sure. Guess we’ll never know. Explaining Bo was hostage is the ONLY out for him as far as Hope is concerned. I for one do not like what Peter was doing in regards to a return – but I do love me some Bo so I’m happy to have him back
Btw – Daniel didn’t look dirty for once. GOOD JOB SHAWN lol
with Bo’s return. Like most here not a fan of his coming back. For one, the behavior of Peter Reckell has kind of tarnished his image for me. But beyond that, the character of Bo took a hit from his split from Hope that never really recovered. Kind of like John and Marlena who are still in limbo, something I hope the new writers change.
I’ll try and keep an open mind and focus on the character, not the actor. But so many returns have failed; will this one be an exception?but it didn’t help him any on the boards, where the Daniel as well as SC are both torn from limb to limb on a daily basis. Maybe people will cut him some slack if they break him and Nicole up once and for all. I would lmao if he does leave, as the rumors claim, that AZ goes with him. Poor guys on DOOL have to suffer the consequences for Nicole’s screw-ups, and all because AZ is loved by everyone everywhere. Doesn’t mean they can’t fix her, though, which is what I hope the new writers have in mind. Dena Higley is one of Nicole’s biggest fans and I hope she let’s her finally develop into a character to be proud of rather than the shady screw-up she’s been for so many years. Don’t know if I like her with Eric Brady, though. I can hear the boos on that one, I know. Most people seem to believe GV as Eric Brady truly is the Second Coming. Maybe if he was still a priest, I might agree with that. Personally, I liked him better with Serena. She’s the one the writers really screwed over. Too bad. Melissa didn’t deserve that.
some viewers would feel so intensely negative about the actor and even the character. If Nicole leaves that would be a huge issue for me, as I so enjoy watching AZ even with poor writing.
Back to board comments, I do think some fans do a lot of “piling on” just to get a rise out of people or simply out of meanness. The internet gives people license to go outrageous.boy, they are brutal, and not just to Daniel. But, unfortunately, there are others who just HATE Dr. Jonas and his entire family. I just can’t see it. I do have to admit, he’s involved in practically everyone’s story, but I like the character as well as the actor, and hope the rumors are nothing more than that and that both SC and AZ stay with DOOL. We shall see!
I for one am not looking forward to Bo’s return. Peter Reckells behavior concerning his contract and subsequent attempted manipulation of fans to get him reinstated at DOOL has ruined him in my eyes. I also have no desire for him to reunite with Hope.
I am very disappointed that Days spent all this time on the Aiden/Hope SL to just drop it and start something with Rafe. This is so ridiculous. I like Aiden and Hope and for once the SL was taken slowly and building up to a love story. Now they are changing gears towards Rafe, which will lead to BO? THis makes Hope out to be as fickle as Abigai -that was never a Hope trait!
I am beginning to worry about how all the returning characters are going to affect Days. I am concerned that this will turn out to be a disaster.
As far as Nicole/Eric/Daniel is concerned, this is stupid. NOTHING happened except in Eric’s mind. He needs to understand that it is time for him to move on and let Nicole be happy
if Rafe left. He’s been a huge letdown since the early days when I thought he had so much charisma. He’s been blah for so long, a shame because of the lousy writing. If he is to be paired with Hope and then she moves on to Bo, at the expense of poor Aiden, this is not a direction I am eagerly anticipating.
As much as I liked Bo and Hope together before, I also feel he has ruined my opinion of him and I do NOT want him to come back to DOOL, ever, let alone be with Hope. I love her with Aiden and, although I think I’d like her with Rafe too, I’d much rather she stay with Aiden. Hope is not a bouncing ball when it concerns affairs of the heart and never has been. Let’s keep at least one character with a half a brain in her head.
