Leaving Characters

I get that Julie is a very good friend of Marlena’s. I get that. But does she have a relationship with Marlena the way that WillAllie has with her, so wouldn’t it be highly odd for Allie to go through with Marlena’s rapid failing health alone, given the rest of her family doesn’t have a relationship with Marlena the way that Allie & her brother has with Marlena, if they send Will on his way with Sonny?

Then this, isn’t it very odd that Sonny chooses to leave Salem altogether all because as to who tells him of who’s actions, when Will had done that, they did have Marlena at one point out to Will, his Salem responsibilities should come first for when he was in L.A.?
